Samsung's new home monitoring kit looks amazing to me--the versatility that it provides would seem to have multiple purposes. When looking through the website it immediately seemed great for protecting your home while away on a trip. However, when I got to thinking about the multi-function sensors I realized that it might also be great for my parents, who are caring for their mothers with memory problems. It would be great for them to know remotely when the front door had been opened, for example. I can't wait to see what cool uses people can find for this kit!
