@chrismessina @kh_mugh Guys congratulations, it is really awesome. This will solve a lot of problems between teems.
Khachatur Virabyan
@chrismessina @mariam_hambardzumyan We think that too, although we are doing our first steps, but the goal is to finally eliminated those issues between creative and engineering teams! Thank you!
Movses Saponjyan
Hi Product Hunt community I'm the CTO of Stylebit. I want to present one of the feature, the Documentation feature, from engineering point of view. Have you ever wanted interactive documentation where you can download svg icons, grab the color hex codes and staff like that. - In Stylebit it's possible e.g. to download all the icons from figma right from the documentation. - possible to see the list of color styles and retrieve the code in the desired format like hex instead of rgb. - you can paraphrase the text with AI - get autocorrected text - and a lot more Though documentation feature created to make designers job easier (autogenerating documents for design system is coming soon) by providing context to design system like importing styles, strokes, vector components into doc. I think, we, as engineers, can highly benefit from it too. Give it a try and let us know what you think!

Congrats on the launch!) I'm interested, in which form you can see all the changes made in figma? For example, if the team decided to update code every month, would it be some "changes digest"? Or maybe some notifications or hints on elements that have changed? Best wishes for your projectβ˜€οΈ
Khachatur Virabyan
Hey @kseniya_es! Thank you! Great question! We have a Slack and Discord integrations which are not live yet, where we will give you visual updates on the components and a data on how and what updates where made and in what frequency! So think of Stylebit as a hub where you can see the collaboration work on the design, like how many times things were updated, what documentation were shared and how the docs were used with our docs analytics! So stay tuned for the updates! ;)
Kseniya Es
@kh_mugh that sounds a bit like stealing some PM's tasks! In a good way, of course, guess they wouldn't mind :)
Khachatur Virabyan
@kseniya_es that's a good point! Essentially in the best case scenario this will become very valuable for PM's to get that information!
Paolo De Giglio πŸš€
Congrats on your launch! πŸŽ‰πŸ‘ I'm super excited to explore what Stylebit has to offer. Can you tell me about some of the use cases and features of Stylebit? I'm especially interested in what AI assistance can do for writing documentation. 🀩 Thanks for creating such a cool product! Keep up the awesome work! πŸ€—
Khachatur Virabyan
Hey @paolo_degiglio! Thank you for the feedback! For sure! The main area Stylebit shines is where the organization has multiple products and design system should stay in sync across all of them, it's a very tedious process to sync everybody and just remember to update everything everywhere! Our goal is to generate style guides automatically so the AI assistance is just a tiny step towards that goal! Right now we offer rewriting and grammar correction! So for instance designers can just jot down their thoughts on on Stylebit just select and click, we will turn that rewrite everything to a professional piece of text! We have tons on places we can improve! Thank you very much for your words!
Hovhannes Ghevondyan
@paolo_degiglio thanks for interesting :)))
Victor Gorovoy
Seems like a good tool for designers to communicate all their work to developers. Is it really easier to use for developers? Can I, for example, show interactions with the element for them? Can I leave comments?
Khachatur Virabyan
@victor_gorovoy Thank you Victor! We are working on a next beta version where you designers can hand-over any piece of Figma with Stylebit, and and that point engineers and PM's can comment, discuss, request changes or updates. We will also automatically attach every piece of documentation that is relevant to that handed over design! In terms of interactions we will work on the updates to support shared prototypes from Figma!
Victor Gorovoy
@kh_mugh Great. It's a big opportunity to become ultimate tool for every project 🌟 Will be waiting for updates. Thank you
Eddie Forson
Well done for the launch! I can see this being useful because we sometimes have discrepancies between design and code too. I was intrigued to understand how your Figma + Github integrations work. On your website it's clear what the flow would look like in this case. Could you elaborate?
Khachatur Virabyan
Hey @ed_forson ! Thanks! For sure! So user can connect their Figma account to Stylebit, and also connect Github account, with that we have the two way connection between the two! So when the user will paste the link of the Figma file, we will keep the track of the Styles changes in the Figma file, so then if you want us to automatically open PR's we can do that! But write now we've left that decision to open a PR from a click of a button inside the app. We run numerous transformations on the data of the Figma file, for example to translate the color values, change the names, translate it to CSS or SCSS, etc. Happy to chat more about this!
Movses Saponjyan
Hey @ed_forson thanks for the feedback. Both figma and github provide public apis (https://www.figma.com/developers..., https://docs.github.com/en/rest) So the integration is getting raw data from figma, apply any transformation in Stylebit like css, scss, json, tailwind etc. (We are going to provide public api for this) Afterwards you can open pull request to github (which is fully configurable from stylebit) or download the code directly.
Khachatur Virabyan
@ed_forson ahah great allegory ;) thank you! Good luck on the upcoming launch!
Denis Galka
Hey awesome people! πŸ˜€ Congrats on the launch of your project on Product Hunt! πŸŽ‰ It looks great. Also great that you have collaborated with Figma. We use Figma on our startup. Sorry but I'm not sure I understand how Stylebit Alpha makes the design process simpler. Maybe it's all because I'm not a designer. But I am also curious about how we can use Stylebit Alpha in our working process and improve the work of our designers.
Khachatur Virabyan
Hey @denis_galka ! Thank you for the words! For sure! When you connect your Figma account to Stylebit we pull all the little details from the design, like fonts, spacings, icons, colors and a lot more. Now when you connect your Github account you can open a PR with just a click of a button, and we will bring every new changes designers made on the Figma file, they can just forget to tell you about new updates, we will bring them to you! Our alpha version still has a lot to add so we are working on it! If you are interested I would love to chat with you more on the topic! https://calendly.com/khachaturv/...
Alexandra Kretova
Congratulations! Looking forward to test it with our design team!
Khachatur Virabyan
@alexandra_kretova1 Awesome! Let us know how we can help you with integration! :)
Tanmay Parekh
All the best for the launch @kh_mugh !
Khachatur Virabyan
@parekh_tanmay Thank you very much!
Khachatur Virabyan
@norayr_margaryan thank you very much!
Larry Bekchyan
Amazing job @kh_mugh and congrats on the release! I've been looking for a solution to streamline design collaboration across teams and Stylebit seems to be the answer. I love the idea of having a central hub for all design knowledge and the ability to sync the design system with the code base. The AI assistance for documentation is a fantastic touch. The export and transformation control options make it even more versatile. I will definitely be trying out the free tier and using the promo code for 50% off. I am excited to see how this will revolutionize effortless teamwork. Keep up the great work! πŸ€—
Khachatur Virabyan
Hey @ilarion_bekchyan ! Thank you for the kind words! Will very happy to listen to you and the teams feedback! Thanks!
Anna Aleksanyan
Congratulations on your launch πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰ Right now you sync from the platform, will you be able to do that automatically?
Khachatur Virabyan
Hey @anna_aleksanyan2! Sure we will give that functionality very very soon! You can configure the frequency of the updates we make from Figma, but if you are a pro member in Figma, you will just give us your team ID and we will listen to the updates, no need to configure the frequency :)
Movses Saponjyan
@anna_aleksanyan2 figma provides webhooks for the pro members, we can track the changes and sync whenever style or component changes. For non pro figma user we will give users ability to configure the frequency of cronjob as @kh_mugh mentioned.
Hovhannes Ghevondyan
@anna_aleksanyan2 thanks a lot !!!
Stedman Blake Hood
Very cool! I feel like we need / will need this -- but not sure the right time... what do y'all see as the ideal stage for a company to codify their design system?
Khachatur Virabyan
Hey @stedmanblake! The ideal stage is either the creation of the design system, or scaling it for a larger organizational support, from a stage wise best case would be companies from Series A and above! But with our free tier every company can just have Stylebit all along the way and when you start feeling the need to scale then you can pro!
Khachatur Virabyan
@stedmanblake By the way! Good luck on the upcoming launch!
Ana
I like the feature of linking Figma to Github. and think a lot of designers and developers would appreciate it.
Khachatur Virabyan
@anna_voskanyan Hey! thank you checking it out! Yeah we think that too, it can eliminate so much back and forth ;) happy that you've liked it!
Hovhannes Ghevondyan
@anna_voskanyan yeah, that's on of the best parts, it allows you to save time and have single source of truth.
Biata Tikhonova
Hey there.πŸ‘‹ First of all, your landing is fantastic 🀩 <3, as a product manager you're doing a great job by finding a solution to a big issue, thanks for that
Khachatur Virabyan
Hey @biata_tikhonova ! Thank you for the feedback and support!
Samvel Martirosyan
cool good job :)
Andrea Lori
Great concept and great execution! This is a game changer for many people wanting to get involved in space. Big congrats on the launch!
Khachatur Virabyan
@andrea_lori Thank you Andrea for the kind words!
Hovhannes Ghevondyan
@andrea_lori thanks you, will be happy to get the feedback after using the product !!!
Liana Karapetyan
Interesting! I shared this with our designer. How will the integrations work with existing design system?
Khachatur Virabyan
@liana_karapetyan7 Awesome! So the the way existing design system can be integrated, is that we allow to change the names of the exported design system, so either engineers can adapt how we export the design system to the existing one just by giving the same names, then they just simply replace the existing one, or the way we currently encourage is to just gradually transfer everything to Stylebit which is super easy to do! All in all with a very little no-code tweaks with our exporters and configurations will do the trick!
Ashot Arzumanyan
Awesome idea, congrats! What if we cannot grant github access?
Khachatur Virabyan
Hey @ashotarzumanyan ! Awesome question, that is why we've put some attention on the code export part, so there can be a lot of cases where engineers just can't give an access to the repository, some policies or etc. So with code export engineers can grab the generated code from our side and paste wherever they have the need to!
Arsen Hambardzumyan
Congrats on the launch guys ! πŸš€πŸš€πŸš€
Khachatur Virabyan
@arsen_am Thank you very much!
Hovhannes Ghevondyan
@arsen_am thanks a lot !!!
Tatiana Voronkina
Great design of the product. Will it be a light-theme to dark-theme switcher? I think it will be useful for accessibility. As for me light patterns are better during daylight time.
Movses Saponjyan
Hey @tatiankav sorry we missed your question. We are not on delivering light theme right now but working on a customization feature which will allow to manage your desired theme yourself including light-theme.
