πŸ‘‹ Hi folks! We launched Stylebit in 2023 to help designers and engineers work faster together. Since then, we listened to your feedback carefully and created entirely new thing. Please meet Stylebit, a platform to measure & analyze design systems πŸš€ You can now analyze, measure and boost adoption of your design systems. Track components, variables/tokens and make better decisions. What you can do now? πŸŽ‰ Track design systems created in React, React Native and Web Components, get information about your variables/tokens usage in scss/css. Native platforms are coming soon (iOS, Android). πŸš€ Track adoption rate, usage rate, prop usage, files in which variables are defined and used. You can get higher level visibility into whole design system usage in the code. Very soon our AI chat bot will be available, so you can just ask your design system questions! πŸ—’οΈ Create reports to share with your team members. Configurable digests help you keep anybody who is interested in design system progress in the loop, weekly? Bi-weekly? Monthly? We got you covered! πŸ₯ Last but not least - custom metrics! Very soon you'll be able to track your own custom metrics around your design system, stay tuned! I am more into Data Analytics, and never thought about Analytics for design. Definitely an interesting use case! Are you targeting mature companies or also startups? Thanks and congrats on your launch!
Khachatur Virabyan
@jacopo_proietti Thank you! The ideal customers are mature companies but we also see startups using Stylebit right from the beginning of their design system efforts! Good luck on your launch!
GermΓ‘n Merlo
Awesome @kh_mugh! As a designer I know how important is to understand how design system is being used. Glad to see you helping on that! Kudos team
Khachatur Virabyan
@german_merlo1 thank you very much!
George Gevorkian
@kh_mugh @german_merlo1 Thanks and appreciate your support!
Congrats on the launch. Analytics for design systems never crossed my mind. Do you mind sharing the research or insights that led to the creation of this? My background is coding, not design, but I find this super fascinating. Fantastic work Stylebit team!
Khachatur Virabyan
@jgani thank you very much! We were building a small sync engine from Figma to GitHub, our customers reach out to us and told about this problem that they are facing. They have a design system and they don't know how it is being used. So... We built it!
Khachatur Virabyan
@jgani Amen to that! That is the only source of truth that matters ;)
Nuno Reis
Design system handoff and adoption is really tricky, especially if the system has to change fast. Hope you all have a great launch, and hope to see what comes off of this! πŸ”₯

@nuno_ms_reis Thank you very much!

Launching soon!
@kh_mugh Seems like a really neat dev product. The support docs seem really straightforward and I I've sent thus up to the dev team. Congrats on the launch and keep crushing it!
Nicolas cacciavillani
This is really interesting and challenging! Does it generate any downside on the app speed performance?
Khachatur Virabyan
@ncaccia thank you! we are only running the analysis on the build time, so no downside there :)
Ben Frunjyan
Congrats guys on the new release! This looks awesome and could be helpful specifically for startups who seek to hack their growth potential. Keep up doing an amazing job ;)
Khachatur Virabyan
@frunjyan Thank you! Product companies are often faced with a question of "Do we need a design system?". They finally have an answer :)
Khachatur Virabyan
@frunjyan Thank you!

Hey πŸ‘‹ I'm thrilled to announce that we have come up with a new Stylebit product. πŸš€ The CLI tool is available on the npm registry https://www.npmjs.com/package/@s... As the CLI runs on the codebase, the main question we are always asked is, 'IS IT SECURE?' The short answer is YES πŸ“Œ, it's secure. Just couple of points: 1. Offline Usage: 🌐 "Run Stylebit CLI offline without an internet connection." 2. Dry Run Mode: πŸƒβ€β™‚οΈ "Execute Stylebit CLI in --dry-run mode to store results locally." 3. Self Hosting: πŸ“¦ "You can check the report file and upload it to app.stylebit.io manually through our web interface or host on your own." For more detailed answer check out the security section in the documentation https://docs.stylebit.io/security πŸ—’οΈ

Great product! Taking data analytics down to the component level. Since I haven't been writing React for a long time, I have some questions: From what you know, how many projects need such detailed analytics? And in your product, is it possible to perform data comparison between multiple child components under a single parent component?
Khachatur Virabyan
@rick_fan Thank you! Products which want to support their own design systems, or analyze a 3rd party one to understand if the usage is high enough to build own design system. And Yes! We analyze the component tree so we can see how child components are used under the parent. With upcoming CLI updates we will make it more granular.
Trang Pham
Cool to know that there is a tool to measure & analyze design systems. How easy it is to access for someone who is not a professional designer?
Khachatur Virabyan
@tranggpham Thank you! We currently offer a quick setup, you only need an assistance from one engineer for couple of minutes. In the future we plan to decrease that time to seconds and involve engineers as little as possible :)
Khachatur Virabyan
@tranggpham thank you!
Hamlet Muradyan
Great, congratulations! Your release is awesome and very helpful for product design consistency, as well as team productivity. Going to try :))

Garen Orchyan
What a great product. Big congrats on the launch team, best of luck to you today β™₯οΈπŸ¦„
Khachatur Virabyan
@orchyan Hey! Thank you very much! I wish you a productive launch!
Movses Saponjyan
Thanks a lot @orchyan
Lee Fischman
Design system usage originates in a tool like Figma , so isn’t it a bit downstream for your tool?
Movses Saponjyan
@lee_fischman Your are correct regarding Figma. They even had analytics on design system usage but it's only design side. We are addressing engineering side of the usage. We measure do engineers actually use the design system designers created, is it useful, are there missing parts, what you will get in production.
Karine Avetisyan
Sounds great, when I can expect you to support IOS?
Khachatur Virabyan
@karine_avetisyan3 thank you! We will have a beta version coming in around two months!
