Strollhunt is a free app to find and create games to play in the real world. It’s the fun of Pokémon Go, plus you learn about the city by playing. Strollhunt is for visitors and locals alike. Play in over 50 cities around the world on iPhone and now on Android
Marking the culmination of a year devoted to learning from our dedicated iPhone users and another year of meticulous development and exhaustive testing, we are ecstatic to announce that Strollhunt: Walk, Play, Learn is now taking Android by storm!
Since our inception on iPhone a mere two years ago, we've been on an incredible journey. We have expanded our platform across 50 vibrant cities, rejuvenated the app's aesthetics, and fine-tuned our engaging game mechanics, all while remaining true to our mission - to craft the most exhilarating way for you to discover cities, be it your beloved hometown or an uncharted destination you're visiting.
And so, after countless sleepless nights and countless cups of coffee, we're brimming with enthusiasm as we joyously announce that starting today, Android users can experience the thrill of Strollhunt: Walk, Play, Learn, right from their Google Play Store!
But let's not forget our iPhone users! If you haven't yet embarked on the Strollhunt adventure, we invite you to join the journey. Find us on the App Store, give us a whirl, and let the exploration begin!

this is really cool! if you’re interested, i’d be happy to connect you with some people who operate large walking tours/scavenger hunt companies? ive just so happened to have made a few connections recently that might help get your tech integrated. no pressure on that - dm me on insta/linkedin if you’d like
@budb this is really cool of you to proactively offer to help/connect me with people. I sent you a connection request on LinkedIn. Have a great weekend.
@qbagaj thanks for your support! If you feel like creating a demo game in the city you live in, I'll happily publish it in the app. Inside the app, if you tap the 'CREATE' button at the far left you'll be taken to an external form where you can easily create/gamify new locations to find through play in the app (i.e. you can create your own Pokémon Go-like game).
It can be easier to create/gamify one or more locations from a computer, so here's the form to do so

This aligns with my way of traveling! I prefer a more exploration approach than a guided one. And it feels that this app can help me combine the best of two worlds.
@painless_helen thanks Helen for your kind words, I'm delighted to see that what we do resonates with you, I've spent the past 4 years building for the explorer inside all of us.
@cameron_adams3 many thanks for your support and I hope you'll find yourself in a city where Strollhunt is available to play (that's the difficulty with location-based products, they're rarely available worldwide on Day 1 - today Uber is ubiquitous but do you remember how it was 10 years ago?). If you wanna know why we do what we do, we share a lot on our blog https://medium.com/@strollhunt
Congrats Lucas! An exceptional product, driven with passion and a clear vision. Backed by an idea with great potential and the experience of the team behind it.
