Today, we’re launching Stripe Payment Links — a no-code way to create payment pages in just a few clicks with the Stripe Dashboard. Share your payment link directly with customers, tweet it out, put in your Instagram bio, generate a QR code, or even embed it on your site! Here’s a payment link to try out and buy a sticker from Stripe: https://buy.stripe.com/dR6cOd9RJ...

@joshuaackerman Please Josh, when are you going to open Stripe to Nigeria and other African countries? I though your partnership with Paystack was going to make that possible.

Can the payment link be created via api?

Looks like Gumroad is in danger
Mike Staub
@valentine_erokhin1 not until you can checkout with paypal via stripe. Until then Gumroad is safe.

I haven't tested but this is exactly what Stripe users want, a zero code solution to receive payments.

@joaquim_ley Thank you for the great feedback! Jump into the Dashboard and give Payment Links a try: https://dashboard.stripe.com/pay...
Ross Currie
@joaquim_ley @joshuaackerman Would be cool if this link was right in my dashboard. I was hunting around for it just now and never would've thought to look under Products. I'm currently on the "Create Payment" page, but that's not what I was after. Also, the ability to collect a bit of additional info from the payment so I don't have to match it up elsewhere in my system.

@joaquim_ley @rossdcurrie I hear ya! We'll be revamping the Dashboard soon — I think you'll really like the redesign. And thanks for the feedback, re: collecting additional info. What additional data would you like to collect?
Ross Currie
@joaquim_ley @joshuaackerman Custom form fields so I can sell digital products. Eg with BrutalTeardowns I'd replace my current form with a link to Stripe. This will build confidence with end consumers that the payment processing is happening entirely on Stripe's end... but I'll still need to collect a few things from the customer in addition to Name and Email

This is a great first step, guys. Big compliment on having Apple Pay native but SEPARATE to entering credit card details - I've had problems with checkouts that FORCE Apple Pay or require an extra click to enter credit card that appear on Apple devices to technophobes who don't want to set up Apple Pay. And it inhibits checkout. What would be great as a next step is to integrate an order bump so 2 products can be sold at once... and Zapier so we can trigger service fulfillment. Custom thank you page would allow for upselling. This would eliminate the need for SamCart.

@robin_thompson1 Thanks so much for the feedback! And check out our Zapier integration – I think you might really like it: https://zapier.com/help/doc/how-...
Shane Rogers
@robin_thompson1 in the meantime I've got you covered for the multiple products at once with Stripe payment links that can have multiple products. I've made a demo for you here: https://priceblocs.com/test/link... I'm also thinking about configurable upsells, so let me know if you'd like to be part of the beta

Hey @joshuaackerman, this looks amazing!! I have 2 quick questions: 1. Is there a Pay-What-You-Want option that starts from $0? 2. Can I embed this as a "Buy Button" on another website that triggers this checkout as a popup? Feature request: - I'd really love to see a no-Zapier-required way to automatically redirect someone to a URL link! Thank you so much for your hard work on this.

Is there a way to set up a link where additional products/services can be added? Like add-ons?
Josh Ackerman

@ghawesomepour You can sell one product at a time via Payment Links today. And your customers can adjust the quantity of that product they'd like to sell. If you'd like to sell multiple products on a single Payment Link, you can create a new product via the Stripe Dashboard that's a combination of the two, and then sell that combined product via a Payment Link.
Hunter Carter
@ghawesomepour @joshuaackerman Can you share any insight as to why the development process at Stripe works this way? Why are initial releases of new features always so limited?
Alicia Northern
@ghawesomepour @joshuaackerman would love to have it be an option - so they can choose if they want to add on versus a combo/bundle. Is that possible? Or on the horizon?
Shane Rogers
@ghawesomepour PriceBlocs has a way for you to add multiple individual products to a single Stripe payment link. Here's a demo: https://priceblocs.com/test/link.... We've also been thinking to about how to extend Stripe's functionality to have optional add-ons as part of a pre payment link checkout UX. Will reach out when theres a beta to try
Jacin
What tools do you recommend to no-coders to deliver orders through a payment link? (For example I use a payment link to sell a PDF and I need it to be automatically delivered to the client) Nice work, thank you so much!

@jacinto_fleta PriceBlocs has an integrated way for you to attach a file to a Stripe payment link. Here's a test demo for you to try: https://priceblocs.com/test/link... After a successful checkout, we'll email you a secure download link for the attached file

@carolinesyrup If you're looking to deliver digital products with Stripe Payment Links, SendOwl + Stripe Payment Links might be a good integration for you (https://www.sendowl.com/stripe-p...). If not, sorry for spamming your comment :)

@volkandkaya in the meantime, I've enabled custom redirects for Stripe payment links. Here's a test demo! Use the 4242 details and you'll be redirected to this thread after a checkout success https://priceblocs.com/test/link...

It's such a useful no-code product! If you sell digital products or subscriptions using Stripe Payment Links, you can automatically deliver content to your buyers using SendOwl's simple integration built just for Stripe Payment Links. You can check it out here: https://www.sendowl.com/stripe-p....
Kareem
Hey @joshuaackerman - amazing job to you and the team. I had a quick question, is it possible to actually change the logo of the form per link? Say for example I have multiple brands that I want to provide payment links for but all under one entity - how does that work? Best, Kareem
Josh Ackerman

Maker
@karoomi Thank you for your kind words! You can customize the branding of your Payment Links here: https://dashboard.stripe.com/set... Your branding and logo can't be customized on an individual Payment Link basis yet. This is something we're thinking about. For now, you'll want to create multiple Stripe accounts if you'd like to create Payment Links with different branding. Will keep you posted when we make this simpler!
Kareem
@joshuaackerman Sounds good! When considering enablement of different branded payments links I see a lot of synergy with other Stripe products like Connect & Billing. (Ex. using unique payment links per connected account!)
