Dear PH community,
Reading research papers is an essential task for researchers, but it is time-consuming to look for papers that serve their needs.
The typical process for paper search is to use keywords or going through citations/references on academic search engines. But sometimes we don’t know what keywords would be appropriate.
Also, search engine results consider factors such as citations and authors while making recommendations that might not lead to the most suitable recommendations.
So, I built Publication Spot to solve this issue. It will take the title and abstract of the paper you find interesting as inputs instead of keywords, and give recommendations based only on the similarity with the input paper, not on citations/authors.
The assumption is that all researchers have already found one paper related to their needs.
This is the first product built by me. Do try it and let me know your feedback.
I hope that this platform will be useful for researchers, especially new researchers or people getting into a new research field.
