StepShot Guides PRO — Create guides and video tutorials with no hassle

Have been using this software for more than a year and it became our favorite productivity tool so far

Pros:

Pro version allows to quickly create knowledgebase articles and easily transfer & share knowledge within an organization

Cons:

Haven’t found any of them yet

Drastically speeds up the process of preparing help articles and any training materials for my team

Perfect for onboarding and preparing video tutorials. We used to spend a lot of time on onboarding new people, explaining to them how to publish the blog posts, use the CRM, etc, and now it is at least 5 times faster! You just download the materials to your cloud workspace and share it whenever you hire someone. Really recommend this tool!

This looks incredibly useful. Making documentation for onboarding freelancers has been a slow tedious process for me. I'll have to give this a try By the way, what are some short term and long term feature goals with this product?

I must be missing something because I still can't build my project. Where do I go? Do I have to download the app? Can't find on play store.

For me, the most useful feature is video export with auto-narration available. Now it takes much less time to create a video tutorial and I don't have to narrate it myself. Also, I like that I can easily host and share videos everywhere

StepShot Guides is a super handy tool. I'm a Communications Manager here, and I'm using it every day for my tasks - they start from creating quick step-by-step guides for users in the website chat to detailed videos & help articles for our knowledgebase. Can't be happier to see the growth of this product and feedbacks of the people who love using it:)

It's an easy-to-use tool which helps me create and share instructions with screenshots much faster. It saves me a lot of time spent on explaining to my teammates how this or that feature works and how to reproduce a bug

StepShot Guides PRO has made a traditionally tedious process traditionally involving multiple tools, a joy to use. The time reduction resulting from using StepShot is ridiculous. It's a game changer!

Pros:

- quickly create great looking training manuals - multiple export options including MS Word, PowerPoint - clients can review via cloud

Cons:

More template options would be nice especially Powerpoint templates

Congrats with a great release! And here is a question about the Cloud export: are there any traffic or other limitations? is there any possibility to share the content created with users who have no StepShot subscriptions so far?

There is no better tool for rapidly creating training guides for software. Seriously, if your business has more than one person, you absolutely need this tool.

Pros:

It used to take me 1-2 hours to prepare a how to guide for processes and StepShot cut it down to 5 minutes.

Cons:

None so far. They seem to fix bugs before I even find them with their regular updates (lots of active development, which is awesome).

Just some suggestions and hope to be able to do in the future. - availability to add water mark for screen capture for video export. used more than 1 month since last black Friday.

It’s often very complicated to communicate with our clients without the visual image of what they would like to change in the projects we make for them. Thanks to StepShot, our work has became much easier since now our clients just go through the website, click on what they like/dislike and provide us with a quick feedback, all in one doc!)
