Thanks, Eric, for hunting us! Hello Product Hunters, I’m Mike, Co-Founder of Statsbot, along with @keydunov. We're happy to launch Statsbot for Slack! Statsbot monitors your application's metrics by integrating with Google Analytics. Just connect your account, and Statsbot will show you the numbers right inside your Slack! Currently we are working on adding more integrations, smart alerts and predictions, and more messaging platforms 🤓. If you want to see more features or have any questions, we’d appreciate your feedback! Thanks for checking us out!

@mike_melanin @keydunov Nice :) Are users able to set up automated reports? Even better, automated reports for specific channels? E.g. Overview numbers get sent to your general channel first thing on a Monday morning. Conversion report gets sent to your marketing channel etc. That could be cool!
Mike Melanin
@bentossell @keydunov Hey Ben! Actually you described how it works ;) Try `@statsbot schedule summary`.
Ben Tossell
@mike_melanin @keydunov @statsbot LOL my bad! Just saw the example where someone requested the reports :)
Jason Dainter
@mike_melanin this is pretty nifty, would love to use this type of thing however not for GA, but for custom data. I guess you have build some set up where you take raw data from the GA API and then process it into an image, then post the image (graph?). That part I think would be very powerful as a slackbot if teams were able to integrate this for their own custom metrics.
Artyom Keydunov
@jasondainter @mike_melanin Thank you Jason, Yes, you are right. We have build some setup so we can connect different data sources (GA, Mixpanel, etc.). I think we will be able to connect some custom data sources (like SQL databases) pretty soon. And eventually we will release some API for that kind of integrations.

Statsbot is designed for product teams who need to constantly stay aware of analytics data but are overwhelmed by the complexity of existing tools. Statsbot solves this issue by providing you and your team with analytics insights in the most natural way - just ask him, like your buddy.
Jp Valery
Looks promising ! Too bad you can only have one GA account at a time :/
Artyom Keydunov
@jpvalery Thank you, Support for multiple GA accounts is the most requested feature so far. We are planning to release it soon :)
Thomas Griffin
@jpvalery Any updates here? Loving the product, but missing out on our blog stats :/ Thanks!
Nik McFly
We use Statsbot in our Slack community to track few websites. Nice to chat and get reports without any hustle.
Mike Melanin
Thank you @nikolaybezhko for being our customer!
Flowsion
This is sweet, works perfectly too. Even calls up the active users right now that are online.
Mike Melanin
@flowsion supported realtime metrics are `users`, `conversions` and `events`. Or simply try `status` report.
Mike Melanin
@flowsion and great thanks for trying it!
Dre Durr💡
Wow!.. (Speechless) WOW! This saves so much time from setting up different admins in GA. Implementing ASAP💨
Mike Melanin
Hello @dredurr! Share your experience with us :D
Dre Durr💡
@mike_melanin I just went through the irritation of giving someone else admin rights even though they are a contract worker. It is about 30-45 minutes of wasted time. When now all I have to do is one click and when the job is done I can delete them from the slack group. 😍#1000upvotes
Mike Melanin
@dredurr we are happy to save your time!
Shashank
Any plans for adding Google Adwords to the bot ?
Artyom Keydunov
@itsshashank right now you can request some adwords related metrics, you can see what we support via `list metrics` command in adwords section. What any other features for Adwords support do you want to see in bot?
Shashank
@keydunov I would love to know my conversion rates, cost per acquisition for the day and reports for the day.
Artyom Keydunov
@itsshashank Got it! I will add it to supported metrics!
Ryan Abrams
Good job guys! I've been using it for a little while now and while it is quiet nice to be updated regarding our stats, I'd like to see a deeper range of functionality such a specific goal reporting (ie. Show me Goal 4 completions and conversion rate) and the ability to compare results beyond the day view (compare this past week to last week). Maybe this already exists and I missed it? If not, those would be great additions.
Artyom Keydunov
@ryabrams Thank you Ryan, Recently we rolled out support for custom goals. You can check list of your goals via `list metrics` command. Bot can show you completions for goal, as well as conversion and value. We also rolled out feature to segment some metrics by dimensions. For example you segment your signup goal by source/medium. Just start by just requesting metric and bot will ask you whether you want to perform further segmentation. And also we are working to improve results comparison :) Thank you for using Statsbot at Webydo.
Ryan Abrams
@keydunov Good stuff. Statsbot is the perfect companion for our reporting channel. Again, keep up the great work and I really look forward to seeing what you guys can do with it!

This is really cool Mike! Any plans to integrate dev ops monitoring tools?
Mike Melanin
hey @algovc. And thx! I think @keydunov answer better.
Andrei Brasoveanu
@mike_melanin @keydunov Thanks guys! It'd be great to catch up, are you still in Moscow?
Artyom Keydunov
@algovc @mike_melanin Thank you Andrei, Yes, we are planning to integrate dev monitoring tools, we already have alfa support for New Relic and will add more dev/ops monitoring tools later. We are in Moscow and would love to catch up. What is the best way to contact you?
Matthieu Varagnat
Great tool. It immediately saves me lots of back-and-forth. I can't wait for custom reports & being able to access several properties
Artyom Keydunov
@mvaragnat Thank you Matthieu, Custom reports and support for multiple properties are on our list :)
K
Very nice service! Do you plan to integrate Flurry?
Mike Melanin
Hey @kirillkudin, thanks for question. By now we don't plan to support Flurry. Our next focus is Mixpanel.
Joseph Collin
Cool! I like it. I guess i should try it immediately)
Gabriel Reynard
Great product! It will save my time and effort, login into Analytics and look up my data is "boring", but receiving them just in my Slack will be awesome.
Mike Melanin
Hey @gabrielreynard. And now you can share insights with your team immediately!
Mike Jirout
Awesome product - got it up and running in 5 minutes. Onboarding is very well thought out. Once integrated, you can easily set up a scheduled report by doing the following: - invite @statsbot to any channel you'd like - type: @statsbot schedule - that's it - it'll walk you through the next couple steps Highly recommend.
Mike Melanin
Hello @mjirout ! Thx for posting such great tutorial.
Ouriel Ohayon
can someone do the same with mixpanel?
Artyom Keydunov
Hi @ourielohayon, We already have alfa support for mixpanel. You can connect mixpanel and see your top today's events and funnels. We are going to release full support for mixpanel soon.
Corley
@mike_melanin @keydunov well done! I set-up the integration today for the Product Hunt team! Love being able to quickly ask statsbot questions. One quick question for you - is there a way to add a alerts and summaries into channels or only 1:1 with the bot?
Artyom Keydunov
@corleyh @mike_melanin Thank you Corley, You can invite bot to any channel you want, just go to this channel and text `/invite @statsbot`. After bot invited to channel you can do all things you can in 1:1 with bot. You just need to mention bot. So, for example, to schedule a report in channel just text `@statsbot schedule summary`.
Mike Melanin
Hey @corleyh! Thanks for setup! All Statsbot features work either in channel or in DM. If you are using Statsbot in channel don't forget to mention @statsbot. Ex: `@statsbot summary this week`. 🤓
Pierre Becerril
@mike_melanin man I love it! Fantastic product. Now i want Statsbot on my Telegram haha
Artyom Keydunov
@pierrebecerril @mike_melanin Thank you, Telegram will be next platform for Statsbot :)
Alex Putici
We use statsbot on a few sites. It's awesome, and simple. Heap integration would be epic. Keep fighting the good fight!
Mike Melanin
Hey @alexputici ! We will fight for our right! :D
Jason DeMorrow
Very slick. Any plans to add integration with AWS and GCE native monitoring?
Artyom Keydunov
@jdemorrow We are planning to support more integrations, right now we are working to bring full support for Mixpanel. Regarding application performance and server monitoring we want to start with New Relic as the most popular service. Later I think we will support AWS and GCE native monitoring.
