This is a really great report and so glad to see more people taking this stuff seriously. When I couldn't easily find answers to my questions when I was getting started with Product Analytics, I took it upon myself and wrote a bunch of guides on related topics. You can check them out here: https://dataled.academy/guides/
So excited to have collaborated on this with the team at Mixpanel and OpenView!
The reality is that so many product people *know* that we ought to be making data driven decisions. But to master true Product Analytics maturity -- it takes much more than that. Our hope was that this guide can help product people not just understand what true product analytics maturity is, but drive them to master it.
Absolutely love the focus here on collecting the right data and asking the right questions.
One of the most common problems I see are that PMs are very focused on new features they're releasing, and don't take a step back to think about how they want those features to be used, or the questions that will be asked about the success of the feature by the broader business. Love that this in-depth piece exists for folks who want to get smarter about setting up analytics at their org.
