Big update on this nifty Chrome Extension by @_jeremiahs, well done!

Nice tool, how does it differ from Mattermark's Chrome extension, why should I switch? https://chrome.google.com/websto... (besides it's availability on Safari and that it's free)
@awchristoph the info we show is different, we try to focus on qualitative info about startups: founders, revenue model, social reach etc. So that we don't rank or give scores to startups for instance. You can also annotate startup profiles and save them within the extension (to Evernote, for now) . Overall, I think Mattermark is a much larger platform which focuses on 'deal making' as they put it. We want to reach a wider audience of people interested in startups which is also reflected in our pricing strategy: Startup Tracker is free for all! I would say try both, and see which one works best for your needs. I'd love to hear your feedback after using them side by side in any case: jeremiah at startuptracker dot io
Great work with the update! The one major usability issue I still have is that when I'm on a company's website and open the plugin without having highlighted anything, I'd like it to automatically search for info about the company I'm looking at (based on the url). This use case comes up more often for me than highlighting a company name and searching for it.
Noted @miklern, we'll do a quick product iteration after launch and figure out the best way to do this, it's come up a few times already. Mind if I get in touch on Twitter when we start planning the feature?

Very excited to launch version 2.0 here which is very much inspired by the discussion over v1.0 on Product Hunt nearly a year back thanks to the awesome @bramk! Here’s what’s changed since then:
• Live-search over 400k+ profiles across CrunchBase, AngelList, Product Hunt + others
• User interface overhaul: Full height-extension, custom user tags and collapsable sections
• Finer-grained startup profiles with added Founder, Market and Revenue fields
• An Ask startup button to crowdsource missing profile information directly from startups – our secret sauce!
The idea behind ST is to make your life easier when it comes to searching for startup information and keeping tabs on specific startups – we find it beats the Google + spreadsheet combo for many use cases :-).
So Product Hunt, what do you think about this new version? What features would make Startup Tracker a killer app for you?

@_jeremiahs Great tool Jeremiah! It could work great for Sales people if there's some sort of Salesforce integration for the tool to say if a specific website (or lead) is already in SF. What do you think?
