@oliverwaters I noticed you guys have a URL scheme available (stache://), which is awesome, but I was curious if you guys were planning any kind of "share by URL" scheme (ala http://saved.io). Being scattered across a dozen ever-changing devices, being able to add things to my collection without an app or extension has been a killer feature for me.
@bramk Take a look at https://stache.zendesk.com/hc/en.... In most cases that should sort it. Also, if you're running iOS 8 or Yosemite beta's, they can be the cause of some iCloud issues. If you're still having trouble, drop us a message via the support page and we'll help you get going.
Hello fellow hunters! We have just launched Stache, a smarter way to bookmark web pages for Mac and iOS.
Stache makes it quick and easy to collect and re-discover pages you find useful, interesting or inspiring, in a beautiful, visual and fully searchable library.
If you've had enough of organising browser bookmarks, scrolling through overwhelming reading lists and web services which never seemed to hit the mark on simple bookmarking, you'll probably enjoy Stache.
We've kept things as simple as possible, with three main features:
1) Visual bookmarks (to help you quickly identify pages)
2) Full content search (find anything quickly without organisation)
3) Page archiving (full-page screenshot and web archive)
Everything is stored locally and bookmarks will sync up with the iOS companion app over iCloud.
Here to answer any questions and would love to hear your feedback! Thanks.
@mchang You'll need to install the Mac app first. We've made this clearer on our site now ;)
@narekk Thanks! look forward seeing it.
@dshan We plan to integrate with other services soon.
Hey all — v1.1 went live today with a bunch of improvements including collections, folders, tags list, faster sync, better performance and more. Would love to hear your thoughts!
Hi @bramk. Great! Stache is focussed only on bookmarking web pages, rather than anything and everything you find online. In addition Stache archives full pages, for offline browsing and preservation, unlike others. Further more, it's a native app rather than a web service.
Wow. This is incredible. I've been wanting something like this for awhile. No solution (until now) satisfied me. I was considering making something myself. Glad someone else beat me to it.
@oliverwaters Here is my first take on your product & landing page (screen recording + audio) on YouTube:
Hope this is helpful. Let me know your thoughts here or on twitter @narekk :)

@oliverwaters I just bought my copy of Stache for Mac. As a heavy Evernote, user, I think this will help me declutter my account from all visual bookmarks, and web clips. So far, I have one question and that is, is the search sorted by relevance? I did not see any sorting filters, like those in Evernote, so I assume it is.
@preslavrachev Nice! Yes, they are sorted by relevance but only on a basic level — result matching exact phrase followed by results containing the words but not as the exact phrase. In turn these two sets of results are ordered chronologically.
@oliverwaters You should consider using the Cocoa Search Kit: http://nshipster.com/search-kit/ It allows for sorting by textual relvance out of the box. I believe that it would make a great update to Stache.
