That's a nice tool for data freaks like me. Before to get a similar result, I was counting on Last.fm, scrobbling everything from Spotify there and using data visualization tool. They say I stream like a Partier 🎉 Hell Yeah!

@picsoung Me too, but my most frequently played track is "Baa Baa Black Sheep" by Caspar Babypants, so don't read too much into it. :)

Interesting marketing vehicle for their attempt to go after Muzak/Mood Media with Spotify offshoots SoundtrackYourBrand to play the music in store and SpotifyForBrands to fill that data out on the backside.
Nick Gaston
Did they take this down now?

Have been waiting for something like this for a long time! I've been always looking forward to the end-of-year statistics email. Now I can always just check spotify.me. Awesome product, thank you!

It was a little bit off, but all in all very cool. I wish there was a way to let them know where they were wrong to help their algorithms improve. Very happy they made this.
Giorgio Giuliani
This is fantastic

Neat idea, but a bit concerned. I've been using Spotify for at least 7 years and my lifetime top song / artist are from the same artist – which I've never heard of or listened to. Makes me question the data a bit...
Hafiz Azman
@chopeh same here! I have a feeling it's only the last few months of listening or something like that, @mtwt2c could you confirm?
Pete Lacey
@mtwt2c @7thbeat I actually checked on Last.fm; I've never listened to the artist that was supposedly my top of all time...
Charley Ma
I wish there were more of this! I still used last.fm but love the analysis of my music over time. Side note - always a bit tricky to see if these are official Spotify or if they're side projects just off the domain...
Alexander Andersen
This is a really smart marketing play from "Spotify for brands" (based on the contact form at the bottom)
Jason
Heh, my top genres are Fluxwork, Mandible, Escape Room, Vaporwave and Outisder House. http://imgur.com/a/t9chp

I don't think the product understands me... how far back does the analyzed data go?.
Cody
Great design and actually pretty cool info!
Vytas Butkevicius
This is pretty cool, love seeing cool stats after using a product like Spotify every day :) Apparently, I'm an energetic eclectic, what about you? P.S. That design 🔥 dem gradients 🌋

@vytasbu "YOU ARE HIGH ENERGY! We can’t seem to find any chill music in your recent streaming history. What’s it like living life at a 10?"
Adam Kelly
@vytasbu @pym "You’re all over the place. In the good way."
Chris Messina
Top Hunter
@adam_kelly apparently we're all the same after all. 🤔🤔🤔
Gaurav Mathur
@adam_kelly @chrismessina some ML algorithm learned to classify everyone as "energetic eclectic" because it made the viewer feel good about themselves? 😄
Sam Feldman
@vytasbu @pym @timbitzen Maybe the people that comment on a website for discovering new things are just eclectic :)
Peyton Hayslette
What's not to like here. Combining your most listened to music with some statistical analysis to back it up! Would love to see this as a regular thing for Spotify. I'm talking full on 📈's with every playlist.
Charles Magnuson
I don't understand these projects. The information this thing produces is useless. Rdio created something like this as they were closing up shop and now Spotify has produced the exact same thing. I feel like this is advertising which isn't aimed at the average Spotify user.
Pablo Fernández
That's gorgeous. This made me chuckle: "All the Way Up YOU ARE HIGH ENERGY! We can’t seem to find any chill music in your recent streaming history. What’s it like living life at a 10?"
Jason Cutler
Aren't you just harvesting our listening data so you can sell it somewhere down the track?
.
Apparently I stream like a "cooking enthusiast"?
Tristan Isham
I'm not sure how accurate this is! Though it does have it's moments I also listen to the same track for days and that tends to give me skewed results (It says I have a lot of dancing music when I primarily have slower songs). Then again, I might be missing a hidden metric! Still cool though!
Jonathan Howard
It said I don't listen enough to tell me anything. I've listened to at least hundreds of songs on Spotify... I wonder what the cutoff is. For now, I'm ✨mysterious✨
