I wish that I could view the likes/playlists of other users. That is one tough thing about this app

Wow, this has a great deal of polish. Feels responsive, fast. Design is fantastic (do I see a little spotify inspiration going on?). Great work. I also recommend VOX (http://coppertino.com/vox/mac) which has a pretty neat SoundCloud integration. It's compact and has been my player of choice for about a year now. Will give SoundNode a try today, see if it can beat VOX. Update: When scrubbing forward on the song timeline, there should be some sort of click feedback. Right now I click somewhere ahead of where it's currently playing and it sort of freezes for a second while it loads. I suggest some type of indicator that it's "seeking" or buffering to where I clicked. A Simple "buffering" should do the trick.

Are there ads on this, like SC's mobile app?

While back i requested SoundCloud guys atleast give us Chrome app, but good to see Mac app for same. Thanks

Nothing beats Soundcloud 2.0.1 from back in the day but SoundNode makes Soundcloud more visually pleasing. Also a big fan of http://soundcleod.com/

Limited to 15.000 tracks daily for the entire userbase... Unusable right now... what a bummer :(

So glad someone has finally made a full Desktop client rather than a status bar app, and it's really good! I Like how I can play with the play button the keyboard. It would be nice to see tools to play audio though other sources, like apple tv.

It's great! Adding to my daily apps.

@weblancaster I've been using this for the past week now, and absolutely love the app! Two minor notes: 1. If I have two music apps open (i.e. Spotify and SoundNode), SoundNode seems to always take priority when I use the play/pause button on my Mac (F8). Normally, for example with iTunes and Spotify, it will prioritize the one that was active more recently. Is this something you could add to your backlog for SoundNode? 2. When I look at a specific account's tracks, I see doubles of every song. It leads to every song getting played twice in a row. Just another item for your backlog for when you have time. I installed it when I see the article by @ow on TheNextWeb. For me SoundNode for Soundcloud is like Plug for Hypemachine. You can use the website only but when you use the app, it greatly enhances the experience. Great work @weblancaster . Little feedback, I would love to be able to like a song when I click on the artwork at the bottom of this app.

thanks, this is great! love the media keys support and notifications. As for the critique - some weird UI here and there but solid non the less. Waiting to see how you improve it! The only thing that's really worth looking into is the app icon. It's barely visible in the dock -

The best Soundcloud app I've come across so far. Love it!

This is fantastic and has already transformed Soundcloud from something I logged into and checked periodically, to the primary app streaming my tunes at work.

I tried this ~6 months ago and couldn't get it to work. I'll give it another try. I've also heard great things about Cumulus.
