Hi, Product Hunt community, I'm Christian Jesus Memije, the creator of Sortlee, a web app dedicated to revolutionizing the way you interact with your Spotify music playlists. Sortlee empowers users to meticulously organize their music using a suite of 20 musical attributes. These attributes span from straightforward metadata to intricate audio analysis features, ensuring your playlists not only reflect your musical tastes but also the sophisticated nuances of music theory and audio production. The genesis of Sortlee dates back to late 2019, a period marked by my burgeoning passion for both music and organization. The realization that crafting a playlist was merely the first step towards creating a truly remarkable musical experience propelled me to develop Sortlee. Our mission is straightforward: to transform and elevate your listening experience by offering an intuitive platform for sorting and organizing playlists. This endeavor was motivated by my personal challenge of maintaining a publicly available Spotify playlist and the desire to evolve these collections from simple compilations into masterpieces of musical curation. Sortlee stands as a testament to four years of dedicated development, offered freely to a community of thousands of users who have contributed to its evolution. As we venture into the next phase of development with Sortlee 2.0, we are eager to introduce an array of new features, including the ability to sort liked songs and implement version control for your playlists, among other exciting enhancements we can't wait to share. Sortlee is not just a tool; it's a gateway to saving invaluable time—whether it's minutes, hours, or days—depending on your playlist's size. With a single click, your playlist is updated, saved, and ready for enjoyment. Our goal transcends mere organization; we aim to refine and perfect the art of playlist curation. The platform offers a versatile range of sorting options, from basic categories like Title, Artist, Album, Release Date, and Added Date, to more nuanced musical attributes such as Popularity, Tempo, Circle of 5ths, Key, Mode, Time Signature, Acousticness, Danceability, Energy, Instrumentalness, Liveness, Speechiness, Valence, Loudness, and Duration. These features are designed to unveil hidden patterns and connections within your music library, facilitating a more profound and data-driven approach to playlist curation. As the leader of this project at TRAPNSTUDIO, a burgeoning music tech company, I am committed to steering Sortlee towards the desires and needs of our community. We are excited to hear your feedback and incorporate your insights into the ongoing development of Sortlee 2.0. In conclusion, messy playlists and the endless hours spent organizing them should be a relic of the past. We invite you to watch our product demo and join us on this journey to redefine music playlist curation. Thank you for your attention and support. You are truly awesome. Christian Jesus Memije

This is a pretty sick idea. When I'm working out, it always annoys me when it goes from a high tempo song to a low tempo song. How does this interact with Spotify and Youtube Music?

This looks neat, but I'm not keen on signing up for something when the homepage is lacking basic details (like price). Please consider being more transparent up-front to encourage folks to give your service a try, because it DOES seem really cool!

This is exciting stuff Christian! @christianmemije Music these days is increasingly becoming a way for people to self-identify and communicate, and playlist generation is a key manifestation of that (taking myself as an example). I have many playlists in my library, but sorting and categorizing in the end is never ideal, Looks like this will arm me with something more sophisticated and help with music curation in general. Love this!
