Sortabase — Collaborative visual databases for communities

Sortabase lets communities build collaborative, visual databases of the things that matter to them. From headphones to software, communities decide for themselves how their databases are structured, who can post, and how they're moderated.

My cofounder and I have been working on Sortabase for a few months; we finally feel it's polished enough to share to PH :) We're building a platform that gives communities a place to aggregate, search, and discuss their collective knowledge of the things they care about, from shipwrecks to programming languages. Sortabase combines the structured and rules of a spreadsheet, with the drag & drop editing and moderation tools of platforms like Reddit or Airtable. The entries in the database also provide a natural place to discuss the items in question. Sortabase is free to use, and always will be. We don't sell user data or the contents of community databases to third parties. We can't wait to see what y'all will make on our platform!
