Strange, I download the latest release and move it to the apps directory but when I try to launch it I get the following error: "The application “Soon.app” can’t be opened."

Looks like it doesn't have execution permission, so I gave it that but now when I open it the app just crashes. I can provide an error log. Might do this over on your git issues.

Hey Ryan, yes it needs permissions to run as the app doesn't have code signing. However, I don't observe any crashing behaviours although I tested it on several different machines, so would appreciate if you could open an issue with error logs and any other details such as macOS version etc. on Github. Thanks.

@dbilgili I'll create an Issue but I don't wan it had to be given permission to run, I had to actually do `chmod +x "/Applications/Soon.app/Contents/MacOS/Soon"` to get it to open :/

@ryan_roberts1 I see, but that might be the source of the issue although I am not completely sure. If you prefer you can build the executable on your own by following the instructions in the README of the GitHub repo.

I downloaded the latest version and it does not work as well :( Application can't be opened... Was really excited about the idea.

What are the plans to get this app to work out of the box?

Hey @michaelthegeek, The download link is updated with a new version which should be working fine.

I made an executable via the terminal but the app still would not open. Why make this if it does not work from the start?
