@devezehugo After the trial is over, your folders will stay customized. Nothing will disappear until your remove the app. You just won't be able to customize new folders after the trial is over. The app will let you know.

Yes, Folder Colorizer 1.5 is the program with which I cleaned up my desktop. Finally, I can immediately see which folder is responsible for what and don't have to peer at the name of the folder at 2 am after 10 hours of work on the computer like that guy from a "small piece of paper" meme (huh π). 10/10

:D made me smile. Great idea for organising folders and, to some degree, projects (at least that's what i had in mind). There are a couple of questions that i had in mind for this product.
1. What happens if you receive a zip from someone, with folders personalised with your tool. Do they get to see the the styles?
2 (you can view this as a future idea) Can you do presets? Something like a recomandation/suggestion for different folder organising ideas that users can adopt. Just to have a starting point.

A great app for adding flair to the otherwise boring folders in Mac OS. Very glad to see that Folder Colorizer has been added to the App store at a reasonable price, and the software maker continues to add value to this product.

I love Folder Colorizer, but the version numbers donβt match up. @joshsoftorino you say v1.5 is out now, but the Mac App Store version shows v4.7.1 and the direct download from your website is v4.4.4 (no update to 4.7.1 available on the direct download version yet), so where does the 1.5 come from? Iβm confused.
Also, Iβm hoping that in a future upgrade, you will allow using our own PNG files to embellish our colourful folders.

Rest assured that all app versions across all platforms have the same updated features, regardless of the version numbers (v4.4.4 or v4.7.1). I teach clients how to use the Mac Finder in ways to simplify their workflows. I'm excited that Folder Colorizer is in the Mac App Store because now it will be much easier to get my clients using this great app! I really enjoy making my Mac more productive and Softorino apps do just that.
