@michaelagustin what led you to leave GameSalad and start Weaver?

I've been looking forward to the release of Weaver. I got a chance to see a super early version ~9 months ago. It's like a comic strip that's created by simply texting with friends. @michaelagustin, former CEO of GameSalad, is behind this.

@michaelagustin I love this idea, the illustrations are great and very expressive. It is something I could use everyday but I found the experience quite painful to become as simple and addictive as Bitstrips. A few feedback: - I get lost in the way my phone contacts are ordered. It's very complicated to find one contact and it is the first step. Apple don't know how to do this but other apps do (snapchat, whatsapp,..) - The Onboarding and sign up are too long and I have to do it again today for some reasons. The first action should be to create a story and then sign up to send it. It's also because I'm a big fan of the no-sign-up apps! But look at YO, they did it perfectly, just ask for one nickname and later ask for a password to keep using the app. I love the idea of taking a screenshot to send feedback! Every app should do this!

Love this idea. After seeing Bitstrips blow up on my FB feed the past 2 years, I've been waiting for someone to take that kind of visual storytelling to the next level.

A nifty product by a talented team of folks. I like that it's visually contextual and you can create shared narratives in real time.

what are some of the other best story-telling apps you guys have seen?
