There are tons of social media management tools and all of them have different features and different pricing strategy. We’ve collected more than 150+ plans of these SM tools and opened the data, so you can filter them by your needs.
@_subnet Hi Michael, Sure, if you can share the plan details of the Swat.io, we can add swat.io into the next release of the Google Sheet and the website. I've just emailed you about the details of your plans.
Thank you @chrismessina for hunting us. We are very glad to be in front of the Product Hunt community.
Last time I counted, there were more than 300 social media management tools and all of them have different features and different pricing strategy.
When we started our own company https://sociality.io - all in one social media management platform, our main focus was always putting our customers in the first place. And price transparency is one of the core assets that we offer to our customers. I think it's as important as product quality that knowing there aren't any hidden fees when you want to purchase a product or service.
To save your time, we have had researched on all the social media platform pricing and features and included all of the plans in one spreadsheet. So far, we've collected more than 150+ plans of these SM tools and put all the data to a Google Sheet. We've opened this sheet to everybody and we are updating this document every a few months. It will help you get an understanding of the differences between all the tools without wasting your precious time.
📋 You can access it here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsh...
Besides the Google Sheet, we've also developed a project, based on this data. It's very easy to find a tool that has a social media listening feature or has a competitor analysis feature. And it's also easy to find the exact price that you have to pay for the tool that satisfies your demand.
📈 Today, we are launching the social media comparison tool: https://socialmediatoolscomparis...
After all, what all of these tools have in common, is you pay for it and you are worth being aware of the features you get in return for your investment.
Please feel free to send your comment and feedback.
@toprakkaya wish I'd run into this a week ago before I spend hours researching many of these companies! But at least I should be able to cease the investigation now.
Sorry but I I think this is terrible.
I mean this is basically a marketing page for a product and not a product by itself. A tool like this should be made by someone independent to not be bias.
If you have no intention of being misleading then the text in the footer - "Powered and updated by Sociality.io - All in one social media management platform" should be displayed prominently at the top of the site, where it actually matters most.
Hello @colinwinhall,
Thank you for your feedback! Actually all data is public and we shared the spreadsheet in the first comment so I think there should not be bias. But I totally agree with your second comment, we can display this in the header - not footer. I think it's just because of old habits, putting that kind of info into the footer, but we will update it soon.
Best!
@firatberber I get it. The data is there in a CSV and it is somewhat useful but I just don't think that fundamentally a "comparison" tool that is meant for the general public to use, should be created and maintained by a company that is not only at the top of that list but also displayed in a way that makes use of dark patterns in UX to stand out in that list over their competitors.
I think it is morally wrong. I may be the odd one out on this but it's just my opinion.
@colinwinhall Ok I got your point now. Actually I understand your concern but unfortunately I cannot say I agree with it since in lot of cases user will not see our product because we cannot provide price advantage and we are giving backlinks to our competitors and transferring the traffic directly to their website. So imho, there's a balance but I agree with that seems a bit slick situation.
Btw we updated the header now, thanks for your feedback again!
Please add https://smarterqueue.com to the list - with custom plans, we have lots of flexibility and up to 150 profiles - contact us via the website and we can provide details for your next spreadsheet update
This is a really great tool - and a really great piece of content marketing. Love it. Made me want to use sociality purely because how clever you guys have been in creating this.
Thanks for adding https://www.chooseholly.com - just to note that we're a bit different from the rest in that we're a whitelabel solution that you can resell at your own monthly point.
P.S. We have unlimited social profiles (the site mentions we only offer 5)
Hello @scotty_bowler, great to see Holly Social team here! We will update your part with the current info as soon as possible. Happy to hear your feedback.
@toprakkaya - thank you! Unfortantely it's still wrong ;) Each workspace can have unlimited social media profiles. It's up to the whitelabel owner to restrict this number and charge their customers accordingly.
There are so many social media tools to choose from! Thanks for creating this handy price comparison site! With a lot of companies updating their pricing in Jan, do you plan to update this for 2020?
nice idea, though missing lots of social media tools. (where is eclincher? One of the best ones in my opinion). Plus its missing some of the more important comparisons... which social media platforms you can post to, direct posting to instagram, queues, browser extension, short urls etc etc
@populo
Thanks for your feedback. We are preparing an updated list and will add the missing SM tools to the Google Sheet and into the website. And maybe in the future, we will add more detail filters as you mentioned.
