Hey everyone! I started Snowball along with @itspearlchan and @ipam73 because we were frustrated with the lack of transparency and options for people coming out of college, and especially for those that are first in their families to build wealth. We are excited to build a product that puts users first and takes more of a financial education and community approach. We are also proud to be an all WOC cofounding team which isn't common in the fintech industry!
Hi everyone, thank you so much for your support!! After working in finance for more than a decade, I co-founded Snowball with @makertanya and @ipam73 to provide the tools, resources, community, and financial education to help people make better financial decisions, especially around their student debt. I'm particularly passionate about helping the WOC and first gen student community achieve their financial goals!

@iloveluce Thanks Luci! We started with student debt since it's 2/3rd's owned by women! Also, our thought was, if we can help people take control of their debt, they have a good foundation to start saving and investing (and Snowballing wealth!)

It's really amazing! Planning your future financials is always great! As for me, I try to take loans very rarely, only when I really need money urgently. As a first-gen Latina, I am grateful that snowball wealth provides the tools and resources to pay off student debt faster. It's also super cool that the founders are first-gen grads- They really get it!
@janet_escobar Thank you! We're really excited to be working on this problem. Student debt disproportionally affects first gen college grads, so we're building the tools to tackle this with our community in mind.
