Awesome project by the team at Snappr. Great to peel away the veil and see what startup life looks like beyond the standard TechCrunch write-up. Looking forward to having a Startup Snapshot photographer come behind the scenes at Reddit sometime very soon...

@alexisohanian Yo Alexis! I just started doing something similar in Singapore with video to inspire a new generation of young makers. Heard from Aziza (GA) that you are soon in town. Can we sit down for a 15 min session? My photos for visual reference http://rawvis.com/

@visavis_kid Thanks, Batman. I'm going to be there for such little time, I don't think it's going to work on this trip. Maybe I'll see you at GA?

@alexisohanian Sure, you’re a busy guy! :) I’ll be there and in case you change your mind, I’ll be prepared… Have a nice day Alexis!

This is great, @edkearney. Loving seeing another Fishburners startup in there. I thought about the best way to try to gather some photos from when we spun Corilla out of Red Hat, and headed over to join the NUMA accelerator in Paris (aka "what could go wrong when Aussies join a French accelerator?"). Add our time in Toulouse, Helsinki and London... just so many vivid visual memories, even the hard times. Startup Snapshot is awesome. I look forward to seeing it roll out (and maybe catch you guys soon - touching down in San Francisco again next week, just been at Fishies this week, small world!).

@bigyahu Thanks Alan! Hope you're well :)

I got hired by one of the startups around when the profile was published. It was really nice to be able to see the place (I'm remote), read the story, and send it to curious family. See! It's a real thing!

Great looking project. I've always been inspired by the Webflow story. It brought a cool perspective to have it told featuring @callmevlad + team in photos.

I always was curious to see what is going on in YC startups. This is really cool, looking forward to seeing videos too.

@baqer_mamouri Thanks Baqer!

Thanks so much @alexisohanian for hunting us! The Snappr team started work on this project a little while back. Among the startup communities we are a part of (including YC), we had started noticing how far separated the stories and photos in the startup media were from real-life. Personally, we like gritty, warts-and-all long-form startup content and as a photography company we thought we might be in a good position to produce some. Hope you enjoy what we've come up with! We're launching with six articles, with another to come out each week. The six launch articles are on Boom, Webflow, Sudden Coffee, Yoshi, YCombinator and (surprise surprise) Snappr :) If you know of a startup that would make a great feature, feel free to nominate them by clicking the link in the navbar!

@callmevlad Our pleasure Vlad! Love the fact that we were able to feature the company whose product we used to built the site :)

@mdschiller Greetings from France! I'd like to know if you are covering your country only, the startup I work with is based in France and I was wondering if we could participate in your project. Thanks and congratulations! 🙂

@mdschiller love this! The format is great and genuinely enjoyed reading Snappr's one. Glad to see how far Snappr has come in such a short period of time!

Awesome photojournalism Snappr team! I love how much Sudden Coffee's production looks like something out of Breaking Bad...
Matt Schiller
@vijaymichalik Thanks Vijay! You should ask them for their 'special blend'...
