@allanberger The Linkedin QR code feature (still quite hidden in their search bar) is great already, but the Snaplink lockscren makes it even easier!
@_subnet You won't imagine, while trying to connect on LinkedIn with a few people at the Snapchat Meetup pre Augmented World Expo in Vienna last year, exactly this was one of the main reasons that led us to develop Snaplink Wallpapers! 🤗
Great idea, I literally have this problem every week when I attend meetups and meet new people there, we usually resort to WhatsApp QR codes but I’m going to stop doing that now if I can send them to my business / social accounts directly. Thank you Allan & co.!

Also, I have created a few dedicated Snaplink Wallpapers for specific products or landing pages that I share time by time when meeting people and friends. Very nice 😊I like this idea a lot. I don’t know anyone who still carries business cards around with them. Nor do I know anyone who collects business cards. So this is a great solution for professionals who are on the go meeting clients. It’s so convenient as everyone has a mobile phone with them at all times . Congrats and best of luck with the launch 😊

@allanberger No problem at all. I just purchased it and I do have a question. How can I see all of my links and QR codes on the same screen? Currently it only lets me save each wallpaper separately. So for example if I have my email link, website and phone number set up I can only pick one of them to be displayed on my screen. It would be great if there was a way to scroll through my list of links and pick which QR code I want to share each time. Currently the only way to do that is via the app. 😊

Conferences, meetups, trade shows and events where you’re getting to meet a lot of people are indeed ideal use cases to have a Snaplink Wallpaper ready at hand on your phone’s lock screen.
Cool idea to have a digital business card always ready in form of the QR code. Are you working on an automated way to have the wallpaper set directly from the app instead of having to manually export it and choose it as your wallpaper?

Regarding your question about automating the process of setting the wallpaper directly from the app, it's definitely something we've considered and are actively exploring. As far as we understand, currently it is not possible to set wallpapers directly out of an app on iOS though. It's definitely high priority for us to be able to do this and we're keeping it on our radar!

What I personally like is to use/switch to different wallpapers in different situations, since it is so easy in iOS.
For example, being at an Augmented Reality Conference, I have my Instagram Filter Profile on. While being at a business event, I have my LinkedIn wallpaper on. When promoting the business of a friend, I have their company website on my QR wallpaper, along with a picture of the shop/company/hotel etc.
At an art gallery and as 3D artist I would have my Instagram Profile with my 3D work on my lock screen so I can share my work as quick as possible when the situation to showcase it occurs.

Being at conferences and having to think about what and how the easiest and quickest way to connect was, was the main reason we've built Snaplink Wallpapers.

Very intriguing approach. It is a fantastic tool for networking and sharing work seamlessly. I would like to know what inspired you to focus specifically on integrating social QR codes into wallpapers rather than other mediums or methods of sharing.

Regarding your question about our inspiration for integrating social QR codes into phone wallpapers specifically — this is a very good question! We actually made a lot of thoughts on providing Snaplink QR codes for T-Shirts, Business Cards and other physical items where appropriate and useful. We're having plans to explore these directions as well.
We thought we'd start with smartphones, as they are an object that we carry with us all the time, and easily customizable to your preference on the fly.
In the day-to-day we scan QR codes or look for ways to connect with each other by having to navigate ourselves in certain apps e.g. Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok or LinkedIn to find a QR code and ways on how to scan them (usually with the integrated camera of an app) — or by writing phone numbers and names down and navigating through your phone's operating system.
So why not take a shortcut and make connecting effortless, quick and easy and have the preferred way to connect on your lock screen directly (without having to unlock your phone or having to carry around an additional physical item like your business card) and scannable for the default camera of today's Android or iOS smartphones? 😊
