@bilalbudhani That's you're adblocker (likely uBlock) detecting 'ads' in the Snapchat URL and auto-closing the tab. Open in incognito or whitelist PH and you're good.
The real question is around whether SMB advertisers be able to create quality Snapchat ads. Facebook, Adwords, etc are all pretty templated. Snapchat ads requires a creative eye and design work. I wonder if Snap will provide creative tools for advertisers to work off of. Best practices based around what types of ads perform the best. etc.
I wonder more about the targeting and demographic profiles for users. Geographic and age/gender isn't really a great segmentation slice.
I also wonder about the out of US numbers they have as well?
I really want to advertise on Snapchat, but most of their stuff is not available to advertisers in India, which, quite frankly, is bizarre at best and stupid at worst because there's millions of Snapchat users in India.
As a Snap user, investor and advertiser, I am a bit surprised they haven't made this easier for advertisers, like a fb ads or google ads easy do it yourselfer.
I am a parent and I am really concerned about the ad on Snapchat. That is exactly the reason why this is a great post to read, about privacy and control over snapchat's account remotely.
