If the main use case is happy birthday messages, you could build an import feature that matches up facebook friend birthdays with your contacts. Texts feel better than generic fb wall posts, so it's something I would probably use

@shaw_nelson That's not the main use-case, but it is one. It's whatever you want to send a message, but not right now
