Good try in a rather crowded market, but it seems that there's no option for kanji, which would've been really useful especially for those taking the JLPT :)
Oh I want to use this app :) But I am with the iOS :(
I am Japanese and personally curious about how non-Japanese natives learn the
Japanese language. I used to be in the UK so I am okay at English (with
British-ish accent, innit), but now back in Japan. I don't live in Tokyo but in
the third or fourth biggest city in Japan and many of people here in this place
around me including people like cafe staff, do not have a good level of English
(I believe so, well, they might possibly be good at it but I cannot tell because
we speak Japanese each other). So I don't basically come up with people with
language skills, unless I go and find ones with language skills at a local
meetup event. I want to (learn how to) help my mates for learning English (or Japanese for
non-natives) π―π΅ β‘ π¬π§ / π¬π§ β‘ π―π΅
@shoichiaizawa glad to hear that! I've been to Japan and I know that there is a lack of English skills even among younger people. We are planning to release an app for Japanese speakers to learn English phrases in the near future. As for the iOS version, please be patient, I'm coding as fast as I can ;)
@doutatsu Right now I'm in the middle of the iOS development, so if your put your email in the form in the landing page, you'll get notified once we're ready!
Hi guys,
for those interested in learning Japanese, we released a new Android app with useful phrases for beginner and intermediate learners. The phrases are actually recorded by a real Japanese girl, not by a robot ;)
What sets us apart from other language apps out there, we have an intelligent spaced repetition system integrated. This makes learning vocabulary much easier.
I would be more than happy for any feedback you might have :)
@hommsen That's a good idea to have a real voice but, you should have both male and female voices. Its worth noting that men and women often have very different speaking styles (word choice, use politeness).
