Hi Product Hunt! 👋 I’m Alvaro, Co-Founder, and CEO of SimpliRoute. Big thanks to @neerajt4 for hunting us. 👍
🚙 SimpliRoute is a Chilean platform designed to help companies of all sizes substantially reduce logistic costs and streamline delivery operations. By leveraging AI, we help you find the quickest and most optimal routes to meet market demands.
🤔How Did We Start?
Co-founder Eyal and I are both researchers who took interest in helping the Fire department in Santiago de Chile become more efficient with their routes and vehicles to quickly cater to emergencies. We were able to reduce waiting time by up to 40% and save over 1400 lives in the process. Our project quickly gained more momentum, becoming the base for SimpliRoute, aiding retailers of all sizes.
😩The Problem
We discovered that most emergency journeys relied on the drivers' expertise to choose a route, and those routes often were not the best. Add that the current supply chain crisis, driven by inflation and the pandemic’s aftermath, has noticeably increased logistic costs, and product shortages. This has consequently left companies struggling to meet the market’s demands.
On the customer’s end, this causes great frustration due to product shipment delays or in some cases, products out of stock.
💡The Solution
We saw the potential to integrate AI into a broader scope of industries, lowering travel times and making a real impact in one of the most polluting industries in the world.👎
Our AI-driven SaaS solution was borned. It streamlines middle and last-mile delivery and has empowered companies of all sizes to optimize their delivery operations by providing faster, smarter, and cleaner navigation routes.
As a result, businesses of all sizes across multiple industries are finding ways to optimize their operations, improve their supply chain resilience, and invest in last-mile logistics for long-term growth.
SimpliRoute helps find the best route as well as the most suitable vehicles for deliveries or visits. The platform then allows you to monitor and track each of your driver’s performance while allowing real-time communication with customers.
As of 2021, we’ve calculated routes totaling 790 million kilometers (or 491 million miles) - the equivalent of roughly seven trips to the sun. Along the way, it saved:
33 million liters of fuel (eight Olympic swimming pools' worth)
56 thousand tons of CO2 (what 378 thousand trees can store in a year)
268 million kilometers of travel (around 600 trips to the moon)
🚀How to Get Started
To start optimizing your logistics, all you need to do is upload your addresses to our system, assign vehicles and how you’d like to distribute certain routes, and then track and monitor deliveries right from your phone.

Hi @gabriel_de_la_rosa_cols! SimpliRoute is built with many different sectors and professionals in mind.
For example, as I've said in some of the other questions, we have a large base of small businesses, so E-Commerce is definitely high on that list. We also have some experience with customer care industries, such as tech services, sales visits, but also nail salons!
Basically, any kind of logistic process can be optimized and tracked with us.
Hi @gauravgoyal_gg! Thanks for the question. We get this a lot, so it's great to be able to write a bit about it.
When you use google maps, you only give them the addresses that you want to visit, and you put them in a way that makes sense to you, so you'll have to provide the order in which each delivery will be... well... delivered.
What we do, is much more complex. We consider the size of the package, the time your customer said they could receive the package, and the skills needed (like a vehicle that maintains the cold chain or a specific job that needs two techs instead of one). We also factor in: zoning, fleets, hours the driver can work, and how many packages a vehicle can carry, among many other variables.
Google Maps will give you a route. We'll give you how many vehicles you should use, when they should leave, what packages they should take with them, and what route they should take.
And that is not even taking into account our real-time tracking, the proof of delivery of every visit that goes into the cloud, the automated notifications with live tracking to your customers, and all of the analytics part.
Hi @javiera_carrillo! While we do have some features aimed at bigger companies, like our complex routing optimization algorithm (which works for +800 visits), there are tons of other ones that can help simplify the life of a small business owner, and the majority of our customers are small and medium ones.
Hi @valesnmartin,
Yes, we have customers already using our platform in 26 countries with great results, and our platform and support is available in English, Portuguese and Spanish at the moment.
Great tool and excellent service. Congratulations on this launch and hope you can take over USA like yo have done with the rest of LatinAmerica. Is the technology the same for every size of client?
@daryll_lacey Hi Daryll! Thanks for the question. We don't make any difference in the tech that our customers can access on our platform. Our licenses allow all of our customers to gain access to our three proprietary algorithms, automated notifications, real-time tracking, data analytics, and our Android and iOS apps.
