Hello Product Hunters; I'm happy to introduce you to my latest app! 🙂 ShortsPlaylist, the app, provides a playlist feature for YouTube shorts. But why? After using the (relatively) new YouTube Shorts, I kept missing a feature that the "regular" YouTube version has: Playlists. So I thought, if YouTube doesn't fix/add this feature, I will. So without further ado, ShortsPlaylist was created as an unofficial playlist feature for YouTube Shorts. And it works like this: just tap the 'Share' button on any Short in the official YouTube app, then select 'ShortsPlaylist'. Now select the playlist you want, and confirm with 'Confirm & Close'. The app will now save the Short in the selected playlist. Besides this main feature, here is a rundown of some more features: ✅ Automatically gets title, channel name and thumbnail of the video ✅ Sharing playlists with other ShortsPlaylist users ✅ Multiple playlists ✅ Unlimited number of shorts & playlists ✅ No advertising, completely free For automatic video info request the YouTube servers are contacted, but since I'm very much for privacy, this feature can be turned off in the setup or later in the settings.
