@jice_lavocat Thanks Jice! πŸ™Œ

I like this. As someone who has more tabs open than is healthy, anything that stops me doing it mindlessly is a welcome addition!
Alex Marshall
@neilcocker Haha thanks Neil πŸ‘

It would be a great feature to tune up the complexity. Awesome concept!

Nice once Alex!

I open way to many Tabs. Then I forget about them. This will get me to stop opening so many frickin tabs. Even 2+2 is enough math for me to not want to open another tab lol. Dope 🚬
Alex Marshall
@dredurr Haha not exactly the use case I was going for, but a very valid reason for using it πŸ™ˆ

I built this primarily as a quick win - I just wanted to build and launch something and knew that this would be pretty quick (took 5-6 hours ish) The idea behind it is that as you open a new tab, even if you don't focus on the equation, your eyes will still see it, and your brain will still subconsciously solve it. It's built on the same kind of premise as Spritz - you're still able to read and understand sentences even when the words are flashed up in front of you This means that your brain is getting a tiny workout without requiring any conscious effort from you. This *should* therefore lead to your brain staying awake and focussed throughout the day, and *should* help to kick it back into action during the afternoon/early evening slumps that I'm sure we've all faced 😴 If you use it, I'd love to know if it has an impact on your focus and productivity! Feedback is very welcome πŸ™Œ

@marsh931 just installed the extension. Always loved these small arithmetic problems. Don't know about productivity, but the small, quick win does bring a smile on face. :)
Alex Marshall
@sojitrahardik Thanks Hardik, glad you like it :)
Muloka
@marsh931 Looks awesome. Reminds me of Flash Anzan "where 15 numbers are flashed consecutively on a giant screen. Each number is between 100 and 999. The challenge is to add them up." In future updates will you have this type of mode?
Alex Marshall
@muloka Thanks Louis πŸ‘ Woah that sounds pretty tough! I don't have any plans to add anything like that - I think the core of this idea is built around the fact that the maths isn't particularly difficult. Maybe I could allow users to choose a difficulty level though
Arthur Guiot
Will it be for other platforms than Chrome such as Safari, Opera, Firefox, etc...?
Alex Marshall
@arthur_guiot I don't have any plans to make it for other platforms, but I might look into Safari extensions in the future. Which browser do you use?
