Hi ProductHunt! 👋🏻👋🏼 We're really excited to present and launch SharePal, the best in class iOS productivity booster for the ambitious and overworked. We are a team of two French indies, and we aim to improve people lives, one app at a time. SharePal is our second utility app on the App Store. 3 reasons why SharePal is the missing app on your iPhone: - Because you often share the same kind of info, and you'd like to have it at your fingertips (IBAN, websites urls, portfolio url, social profiles, addresses, message template…) - With the iMessage integration, and the custom keyboard, you'll have instant access to the piece of data you need without leaving the context of the foreground app - Because SharePal is a paid upfront app, you won't have to worry about hidden costs or subscription management. Pay once and keep it around without limit! SharePal was built to be intuitive, and is aware that the info you share is often sensible. This is why SharePal was also built privacy-first: your data is kept locally on device, and synchronized across devices using iCloud. Since SharePal just launched, it's available today at a reduced price of $2.99 instead of $4.99. Don't wait and get it on the App Store now!

Oh Wow! This sounds like an interesting product.

@savan_kharod1 thank you for your interest! SharePal is already available in the App Store as of today. Also, if you really wanna try it, you’ll find a form to register for the TestFlight on SharePal website! We hope you’ll love SharePal!

Loving it. This smells like a true user centric solution! Love the custom keyboard idea, this would also have its place in my macOS device where I keep writing the same info like my calendar link. Any plans for that :)?
Thomas Durand
@g_ang sure! iPadOS, watchOS and macOS are targeted to launch a bit later. They requires a bit of rework for the interfaces, but it’s also a big work regarding marketing assets, including screenshots for the store. But we’re already working on it! We want to bring widgets to the app as well!
Guillaume Ang
@deanatoire Great to hear! I've just purchased the iOS one, hopefully will translate easily into the MacOS one :)
Thomas Durand
@g_ang along iCloud sync, and because it'll be a unified app, you'll get it for free with all your data when it launches!

💡 Bright idea
Can files, PDFs, documents and website links be added to this app?
Thomas Durand
@james_dory1 As of today, text and URLs are supported. Files are not.
James Dory
Thank you. Any future plans for adding this functionality?
Thomas Durand
@james_dory1 Initial plans are to create some kind of functionality for creating multiple "Contact sheets" depending on what you wanna share of yourself. The core of the app is abstract enough to bring file functionality as well, so we might end up adding it if we find the correct UI/UX to make it work seamlessly with the current app. Proper UI/UX matter most to us than just "pushing features in" ;)
James Dory
Thank you.

@ayesha_awan1 Thank you Ayesha ! We're glad SharePal will be useful for you 🙂
Alexander Jeffcott
Congrats on the launch! This is a really interesting concept that I have never considered before. How do you handle things like privacy and security?
Thomas Durand
@alexjeffcott Thanks! SharePal is built privacy first: - Data is stored locally on your device, not on a random server somewhere. - Data is synchronized across devices using iCloud ; so privacy & encryption is dealt by Apple, on Apple servers. Way less likely to be attacked than a custom service. Current security levels are "Normal", "Hidden" where the item is not shown on screen by default, and "Locked", where seeing and opening/sharing the item is protected using FaceID, touchID or your passcode. We might introduce an "encrypted" level of security for items, where encryption would be added on top of that. But since custom keyboard are disabled for "secure textfields", it'll never be suited for passwords. And that's ok: SharePal is not a password manager.

Hi Thomas, it seems like a convenient tool. Keep it up!
Thomas Durand
@linchevskyi Thank you! I will! We have plans to extend the application to other Apple platforms, and to support more integrations with the system :)
