Pros:

Fastest way to turn CAD into BTCand vice versa in canada hands down. Friendly staff and always available for questions.

Cons:

Fees are on the high side but you do get what you pay for.

This app made it easy to access cryptocurrency in Canada. After deciding earlier this year to learn about the blockchain, I decided on an end goal of buying Cryptokitties as an excuse to learn. Going backwards through the system, and a little patience, I found Shakepay which solved all the issues with obtaining ethereum. I highly recommend this app.

This is the bestest, fastest and cheapest way to buy and sell both bitcoin and now ethereum in Canada. The app gets regular updates, there are versions for android and iOS and the verification takes moments. I’ve been a Shakepay customer since they offered BTC-funded prepaid Visa Cards, and their Customer Service is responsive, helpful, fast...can’t use enough superlatives here. You really can’t go wrong here in helping buidl the Canadian crypto economy by using Shakepay.

Shakepay is by far the best method of buying crypto in Canada. It is easy to use, low fees, and fast.

Only downside is that their app is sometimes clunky. It does not support multitasking with phones and will always refresh back to the main screen if you multitask out of the app to look up say a crypto address.

been using them since they started and have had a great experience. transferring to and from shakepay from either my bank (vancity) or the crypto exchange is hassle free. I used to use local bitcoins and other online vendors like quadriga but only use shakepay now. I like the rates with shakepay and the speed. i can usually get money from my bank onto an exchange in an hour or less, and the same in reverse.

So far this is my best bitcoin buying service in Canada.

Pros:

Very fast, convenient, and cheap way to trade CAD for bitcoin

Cons:

Still requires KYC/AML. Fast turnaround time means they are not batching transactions.

Great to have a coinbase, QCX alternative. Great support team! I use more and more each time I'm looking to enter fresh.

Here to vouch for Shakepay their customer service is truely unmatched - they have great sentiments, 0% fees!! and in my experience the fastest cash out turn around time; It essentially acts as a wallet where you can also fund accounts like Coinbase.
