SendPulse Artificial Intelligence makes e-mail marketing better.
SendPulse creates a behavior user profile for each subscriber based on their communication preference, timezone, content, layout, product purchases and many other unique data points. The user profile is than used by the AI platform to not just create the best experience for each user, but to also understand user behavior in groups with lookalike audience. Using dynamic grouping, the AI platform is able to draw a fuller picture of user predictive behavior and create content with best monetization potential.
Let's say usual open-rate for a quality mailing from the respected sender (my company to my subscribers) is 20-30%. What increasement can I expect after using your AI mechanics and methods?
@paul_shuteyev
Thank you stopping by, Paul! You have excellent open rates.
We are in the process of creating the AI technology and it's just the beginning of the process. Any figure will be a wild guess. We do know that email open rates are going to increase but only tests will show.
I hope you give SendPulse a try and take part in the testing and improvement process.
@paul_shuteyev In average we see an increase up to 50%+ for open conversions. Would be happy to change your conversion from 20-30 to 50-70. Just imagine how more sales will you have ;)
Sounds like a winner if they get it right! *fingers crossed*
What behaviour patterns within user groups is the AI trained to recognize? Does the AI make content/engagement suggestions based on these patterns?
Even as a classic ESP solution, looks pretty sweet as an offering compared to what's out there...it's definitely the only product I've seen that bundles marketing+transactional+notifications.
Pricing looks fair too.
Couple of follow-on questions:
1) It looked like the dedicated IP was being bundled for free with the SMTP offering. Is that correct?
2) Do you provide an IP warmup facility?
@avinashdsouza
Thank you for your comment and interest in our product.
We discover user interests from the recent reactions to sent newsletters - how they read and click. Then we also try match what they do on the sites where we have subscription forms and tracking pixels.
It's the first stage. On the next stage we plan to automate some parts of AB testing and content personalization.
I'd love to hear your opinion, what user groups you think are important?
What suggestions would you like to have - related to improving clickthrus, content or design?
As for your question about the SMTP offer - 100K emails are "pay-as-you-go" plan and it does not include a dedicated IP.
@shevkoplias This looks like an awesome tool. I'm curious about the data you get from the subscription forms and tracking pixels. Would these sites that you track be interest-specific to the user?
@jenleeny
The sites where we collect this data are the sites of the specific SendPulse customers. So, if you sell fashion wear, it's all about it, and not about say cars or electronics.
@bogdan_su Bogdan, thank you for your question!
In addition to traditional segments that are based on the data you have about users you can have segments that are based on user behavior. You can also combine traditional segments and behavioral segmentation and create your own very specific groups of subscribers..
@bogdan_su Thank you. Clearbit looks very interesting. Do you know other good sources of data about users?
P.S. I checked out your project, very interesting idea. I had been an avid game player in the past and would love to check my stills :)
@shevkoplias another one that I know is FullContact, but you might check this Quora thread https://www.quora.com/Are-there-... for some more
P.S. Thanks for the kind words about Mobalytics=) What games you were playing?
Is there a way to control the frequency of the blog-newsletter in personality tools or Artificial Intelligence’s advice? Weekly, bi-weekly etc ? Currently the only way I could control is by disabling the auto generated content and choose the days I would want to send out the newsletter for my blog?
@yaro How do you send it now? Using Rss-to-Email feature?
To find out the best frequency need to try different time intervals and detect how users respond better - in daily, weekly or bi-weekly. It's exactly what AI should do for you.
@yaro The quality of your content will also play a big role in how often you should send content. Users can get overstimulated by daily emails if the content is repetitive or offers nothing new. With automated notifications it very important to send them at a time that users are most likely to need/want to read them. AI will help you automate these to avoid under or over communicating with your user. Have you manually attempted to test frequency of email?
This is crazy, cool idea! I was literally discussing this exact concept with my team a few weeks ago. So happy to see someone made it. Actually founder convinced me to try SendPulse and to start sending out newsletters. Simple interface & amazing crawler.
Before you start using the API Platform, I have a few questions, I really like AI and personalization in the beginning. How did you build it? How is machine learning done? Based on what kind of data? Can you tell more about what it took to develop this tech?
AI for Email+SMS+PUSH - Are you planning on expanding? Do you’ve localization for Brazilian Portuguese & Spanish (Latin America), Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Indonesian (ASIA)?
@manana_samuseva
We are a global startup, based in US & Europe, and focused on Europe, Asia, Northern and South America ( absolute priority - BRICS, APAC and MINT countries). Therefore, SendPulse will add Italian, French, German, Turkish, Simple Chinese, Indonesian, Korean, Japanese, Arabic, and by the way, Spanish (LatAmerica), Brazilian Portuguese localization.
Currently we've used pre-launch product for English and Russian audience. In total we will be have 13 foreign language groups. The language detection are based on geolocation.
The next point about Artificial Intelligence.
The modeling technology is based on math method, behavioral analyses to find lookalike audiences (digital twins) to create on behavior models in consuming content, clicks, design, social demographics - the simple comparison will be Facebook Artificial Intelligence for native advertising.
Past interactions analysis makes lookalike (digital twins) audiences with the similar behavior patterns. As will as this is similar clones to brings more clicks to your site from the same newsletter.
SendPulse Artificial Intelligence API is easy to use and does'nt require a complex setup process, and analyses hundreds of millions emails, dozens of millions daily pageviews, hundreds of millions events and in addition we also collect, buying own big data that can enrich personalization of the subscriber profiles. Using the big data of previous interactions, SendPulse makes recommendations how to improve the layout and the text of your newsletter before your send digital message (email/sms/push). Some A/B tests can be done automatically, like "communication channel test". So we reach customers the most preferred way.
The algorithm will find lookalike audiences (digital twins) according to behavior patterns and will predict the best model to achieve best message delivery timing, geolocation via the best communication channel (E-mail, SMS, Web Push), and with mobile-friendly design and effective content. For example, if a user ignores some email but but reads and clicks on a similar SMS on his iPhone, then we should be able to set that as preferred delivery method, and during next campaign send him a SMS for the first step. So, the artificial intelligence is
forecasts a model for effective frequency of contact with the target audience.
Guys, and some more questions: SMS-campagne with AI - this is great and I've been waiting a while for IT-/mobile-startups to create this.
Do you’ve plans for MMS support or short codes?
Means we can use this marketing channel not only for US mob numbers?
Does you have sequential auto-responders for SMS?
...includes chatbots, which allow you to create conversational auto-responses and delight subscribers in a way that we haven't seen this “black” side?
Adding it to my BizDev tool collection )
@manana_samuseva
Thank you for adding us to your collection!
We have complex autoresponders that include emails, web push and SMS in one flow. Text messaging is international so you can send a message to any mobile phone worldwide (over 800 mobile networks in over 200 countries).
We do have plans to support short codes sometime in future. Very few mobile networks allow MMS that are sent from web so we are not planning to add them. In most cases you can send a link to a file using a regular text message.
Chatbots is an interesting direction, we will think about it. Thank you for your suggestion.
@manana_samuseva You seem to be very knowledgable about AI. I'd love to hear your opinion about chatbots. What bots do you think will be useful for a service like ours? Thank you!
Awesome idea @konstantyn_makarov. What are your thoughts of start using SendPulse if you're someone like me, that will launch in about a month and hasn't started creating a mail list? Why would I use SendPulse and not the likes of MailChimp, Convertkit?
@thiagoafram Our focus is our product and our customers. We are constantly adding to our product to stay ahead of competition and listen to what our user needs are when creating our roadmap. Our prices are a lot more competitive than the competition because we chose to invest in technology and support instead of acquisition allowing us to pass the savings on to you. With 24 hours phone, email, and chat support we are always here when you are ready to set us your account or have any general questions. If you are looking to specific features please let us know. Chances are we already have them or we can tell you when they will be released.
Can I send transactional, behavioral and newsletter campaigns using SendPulse? What SMTP do you use as default? Can I connect my SMTP? If I have 500k subs and I send 4M emails monthly how much would it cost?
@ligeo Hello, Sergey,
Yes, you can send transactional emails and newsletters using our API. Behacioral features are being developed and API is not available for them yet. We have our own SMTP for sending emails, and we can allocate a range of IPs for your use. The cost for your volume is negootiable, we will contact you with an offer.
Startups and businesses can do product recommendations and Multivariate Testing with Geo/Time Personalization and Artificial Intelligence, right? And customers are likely to buy, saving you all sorts of time and effort and enabling to do cool things like
-Send recommendations to customers who bought something a while ago and have been inactive since
-Send recommendations at the bottom of your next regular campaign
But wait, what if a subscriber hasn't bought anything?
@nyushechka_z Thank you, Anna, for your question!
This is exactly the problem we are trying to solve. If the the subscriber has not bought anyting we compare that subscriber to other subscribers and assume that that subscriber will behave similarly.
In addition, we will be gethering information about that subscriber and feed it to AI for improving predictions about his actions.
@nyushechka_z If a user has not made a purchase they may still have a lot of important data points that we would be able to use to provide them a customized message. For example items user has in cart, items user added to lists or viewed. If a user is just not ready to buy this email tool will make it possible to show them similar items, notify them when item is on sale or remind them to make a purchase. Do you have a specific user case where you are not getting the user to finish a funnel.
This is truly AWESOME! Great job, guys.
I see on your website that your platform has 3 channels so far: email, web-push and text messages. Are you going to add social messaging, like Facebook or Twitter?
Where do you pull data for the AI, do you extract data from social profiles?
How did you implement the required search functionality for AI? How did you accomplish that?
How did you (SendPulse) allow developers to integrate artificial intelligence into their app/web-site? Should I learn to code?
This is so going to be abused by the sales folks. Easy to use and lite-weight.
@ok1edok1e You dont need to code at all. We are building out all the automation and AI in the back end and users will be able to select exactly what data they want to pass to us as well as when they want to use it. We have beed testing social messaging as well to allow you to message users from a single platform.
@ok1edok1e You do not have to code anything. Otherwise it's not the true AI ;)
Yes, at the moment we have e-mail, text and webpush. Adding messengers (Whatsapp, FB Mesenger, Telegram, WeChat, etc) and social sharing is on the roadmap in the nearest future.
We are already pulling data for machine learning from email and web. Social profiles are on the way. Other details are our secret sauce ;)
@konstantyn_makarov thank you for the answer to my first question.
I saw that you have segmentation feature. Now, I'm curious what criteria could be used for user segmentation? Some default like gender, location, etc. or I can create my own, more specific segments?
Thanks!
@bogdan_su@konstantyn_makarov I'd be also interested to learn more about segmentation. As if this is done well, you may be a good alternative to Vero, Klaviyo and the likes.
@bogdan_su When you upload your mailing list and make several newsletters, we are able to determine gender and location for the good portion of the list. Then, we also use cross-account information to gather more impersonal (we respect everyone's privacy) and enrich your list with such data.
Then, after sending more newsletters and getting some information from your site we may also discover user interests. For ex, if they like cars or bikes, if they are regular shoppers or not. And so on.
@bogdan_su, what types of segments are you looking for? Because we are on the early stage, we can add more functionlity faster.
Seems to be useful :) I've encountered these problems in my work. You need to talk to one of your clients, you seem to send them emails when they should be online, but they never reply. Because they are not always "checking their email". It is a problem indeed, thanks for thinking about it :)
@savchukmark You say Because they are not always "checking their email"...
Totally agree! There's so called "first email bias". This is when you are more likely to read the top email in your list and ignore the rest. So, it's very important to deliver newsletter to the top of the list of unread emails.
We try to predict when users are more likely to read email and respond. And deliver newsletters in the best time to give you better open/click rates
Guys, I really liked the AI-product and tried really hard not becoming addicted..)))
Is there a way to promote from an iOS/Android extension, eg "send to my XXX" that would prompt you for commentary?
Hi guys,
Interesting product, I'll try to test it in our SaaS.
I see on your website that your platform has three channels so far: email, web push, and text messages. Are you going to add social messaging, like Facebook or Twitter? Thanks and good luck!
@mike_brusov
Thank you, Mike! Let us know if you need any help or have any suggestions.
Your idea is definitely interesting. It seems it will be relatively easy to implement too. We will consider these options and let you know.
Do you plan to have a option “Team account” (can invite other people on team to help create the newsletter) and “Email scheduling”, + easily add content “on the go” for iPhone app?
@taparchi
Thank you for your question, Arsen.
We do have ability to invite users into your account and select roles for each user. Example of roles are Designer, Accountant, Analytic, Editor, Managerr - each of them has access to certain functionality of your acount.
In addition to email camgaigns we offer autoresponders which are available even in free accounts. A really cool way to use autoresponders is creating email templates for every occasion and when you need to send information to a person you just met you can add thier name and email to SendPulse and it will go off in a moment. You can do that from our iPhone or Android app too.
Of course we also have a classic email scheduler tool. Feel free to try our service and check out all features.
@taparchi we make adding content and making changes to your emails simple with our drag and drop builder. You can also save your templates to use and edit at a later time. What content are you trying to change on the go. Are you trying to just change verbiage or full lay out change on the app.
