Seems like a very interesting service but honestly, if you expect customers to pay you, you should at least spend a little bit of money on professional translators/proof-readers. There are just way too many grammatical mistakes in your copy. Why would I, a potential customer, invest in your service, if you don’t?
Serhat Huma Maraşlıgil
@anna_0x Hi Anna! Thanks for the feedback, we are baggin' our copywriter to relocate him for some good o' beating with sacks full of lexicons. Jokes aside, we'll triple-check the text!

The Good: These products are brilliant for people to get small businesses up and running. The Bad: Although no setup fees - companies like Rimuut build their business model on taking a percentage of each invoice your business produces. While this may be acceptable to most - some combinations of currency and bank accounts reach 10%. For each £100 you earn, you’re losing £10 to your payment provider. With any kind of volume I’m not sure how feasible these rates are.

@ssxio Hi! Thank you for your feedback. While comparing the cost of Rimuut to a conventional business, you shouls not omit the fact that there are tins of procedures and hidden costs along the way to starting a business. Whilr many countries west of Greenwich enjoys a fast and light red tape, there are countries where starting a business costs at least 2 months of your precious and limited time, and all in the globe you must have an accountant, a fee not to be taken lightly, dozens of different taxation and fixed costs. I am workin across the borders, 4 years as of now, and was kinda bored with dealing with different billing settlement and payment processes for each country. Rimuut was the way to simplify the process and act and treated as a legitimate business. When it cones to pricing, we are the Bernie Sanders of the freelancing world. We keep it to a minimum, so that the 99% can enjoy the fruits of their labor. :)

@ssxio one more thing. You ain't gonna lose ten percent for pound transactions, that would be too mean :) check our beloved calculator here: https://rimuut.com/pricing

The times, they are a-changin’. The world today is way more different when Bob Dylan first penned down the ballad. Internet, in general, and the industries it brought down enabled so much, and many more. With it, the borders phased out, regions got closer; people all around became much more reachable. As it is the case, change never stops: From the way we do our business, to the way we are getting paid for the work we’ve done, to the jobs we have and to whom we do it with shifts to a more “remote” setting. And with the changes, comes the challenges. One of the challenges the modern world has is the concept of being and working with freelancers, remote contractors, virtual assistants: Trusting someone across the globe or delivering a work to get paid by a company you’ve never seen was becoming a great deal. We might well underline “Was.” In 2017, we’ve invented a way to let freelancers all around the world do business, as a legit company, wherever they may be: They could invoice their customers, get paid across the globe, and get their money fast. Not stopping there, we’ve quickly put in the Agreement service to let our freelancers create their own service agreements, NDAs and general agreements they would need. This way, we’ve created the solution to the changing conjuncture, by being the voucher for freelancers, being the trusted party for their clients, and the financial representative of each in billing, settlement and payment processes. We had one goal and one goal only: To help freelancers and their clients act in a trusted platform, which, apparently all around the world was partially missing. From this insight, the need for a secure platform to conduct their business and financially feel secure, Rimuut was born and got to a point where over 20.000 freelancers and 1100 brands around 15 countries trusted Rimuut with invoicing & payment processes. The times, they are a-changin’. And it’s high time we do the same. From our branding to our goal, we’ve stepped up to our next evolutionary phase. Rimuut, the world’s first platform to create virtual companies out of freelancers, has become the go-to platform for all the things freelancers’ need. With Rimuut, it’s now possible to find, manage, engage and invoice your customers, get paid in over 50 currencies. In addition, you’ll be able to manage your finances, get tax consultation and manage your clients, agreements and everything else you need with your virtual company. Have favorite tools for project management, time-tracking or customer support? Integrate them to dynamically update your monthly payment, fulfill agreement quotes or requirements. Rimuut is also becoming the best place to find suitable clients for you: This way, all an independent professional need to find a good, long term partner is to register to Rimuut. As we know who would be a good match for you, we will look for the best individual to partner you with. Think of it as a Tinder for Freelancers & Brands. The times, they are a-changin’. And so do we: to keep on helping freelancers become virtual companies, knowing no geographical or financial limits. Embrace the change. Rimuut Team

Congrats on the launch, really pretty site! I run a site helping freelancers make money selling code. I think there would be a cool opportunity for cross-promotion if you're interested! andrew [at] sugarkubes.io

Great idea. Great concept. I would like to understand how Rimmut protects the freelancers and ensure that we're paid.
Serhat Huma Maraşlıgil
@marco_cunha1 Hi Marco! Thanks for your positive feedback. We have several ways to ensure you get paid: 1 - You can use our agreement services to secure your work with a binding agreement, 2 - You can use the escrow / delivery services to deliver the project on Rimuut, so that your customer can only get the source material upon payment. 3 - The invoice itself is a proof of receipt, and legally binding.

@marco_cunha1 @themarasligil This is so great. I was literally going to build this but am so grateful you did first!

I've been using Rimuut since it's launched and it is an essential service for me just like Dropbox and Gmail. So I would recommend it as I recommend those services. It's a MUST in your toolkit if you are a freelancer. Give it a try then thank me later. P.S: The new identity looks sick!
Sêyivê Fréjus PADONOU
Hello @mertoyagami @themarasligil . I have been trying since yesterday to find a way to contact the support from Rimuut website, because I have some questions before signing in, but it seems like there is no way to contact you (unless I miss it). I have found this topic, so I thought that I should ask you here.
Mert Bulut

Serhat Huma Maraşlıgil
@jnofe Hi! To quickly answer your questions; - Not yet, but we are working on it ^_^ - That would be through live chat, available between 9am - 6pm (GMT+3)

the 3 bad things about rimuut,1- is that the payee should create an account, I know it is easy to create one, but some clients just don't trust other services easily. 2- you can not customize the email message that will be sent for the client, I know it is a freelance service, but sometimes us freelancers want to portray ourselves as professional companies, as in fact we do get really professional over time, so the word "freelanceer" in the email sent with the invoice can be really irritating, and lastly, every service or program has an option to cancel the account, not saying i will cancel rimuut, not at all, but there should be a canceling the account option as it is the right of every user. I really hope these problems can be fixed soon especially the first problem of payers having to sign up to pay. @rimuut @mertoyagami

A great day for freelancers all over the world 🤘

Have you checked the FAQ for some easter eggs?

A great tool for freelancers :)
John Albert
Why should we use this instead of Uviba?
Serhat Huma Maraşlıgil
@johnalbert007 Hi John! As far as I know, Uviba lets you get paid but does not specialize on this vertical. We let freelancers act and do business like a company (virtual companies, as we like to call our registered freelancers), and that involves the whole billing, settlement and payment process: from invoicing your customers to creating legally binding agreements and getting paid for that invoice.
Haluk
Great solution for freelancers. Invoice and payment management so usefull. Keep going on guys.
Sadik KOCABASA
