Root — Mobile-first car insurance; uses tech for cheaper rates

Alex Timm is a seasoned actuary who saw a way that he could only insure good drivers, and provide much cheaper rates for doing so. He has built an insurance carrier from the ground up, and they've just launched in Ohio. Really excited to see how they progress and expand to more states!

I suggest that if this product is launched in Australia, it might be beneficial to do so under a different name 🙃
