Roadmap Planner — Build your strategy & Manage your products

Hello Product Hunt! First, many thanks to @razkarmi for hunting us. Roadmap Planner is a productivity and linear solution, that allows to plan high-level goals and ideas, clearly visualize strategy flow and control the flow on the go. Roadmap Planner team follow the Philosophy of simple software usage. As a consequence it has simple features set that is easy to understand and start with instantly after installation. This allows you to set up the ongoing projects and dependencies between them clearly. So you are able to see whether the steps are realistic and whether you’re missing anything before sending it on to collaborators. This makes your own thought process very clear and you appear as highly professional. Quick design is available through: - building roadmaps in a few clicks without learning complex software - creation parallel ongoing projects in the Gantt chart style - creation dependencies between objects in different projects - drag&drop objects in timeline for future forecasting - adding backlog tasks as a kind of mindmap and brainstorming Charging and broadcasting the strategy flow in real time is available through: - high level overviews from daily to monthly, to quarterly - synchronization between all devices - collaboration with the stakeholders online with different access levels - projector mode to show the idea to other stuff

Roadmap Planner is a solid and robust product which I use to specifically manage the individual steps within a stage of the project which involve a number of people/partners. The team are highly responsive and keen for the product to improve by taking in customer suggestions and feedback. This also has an iOS app, which helps you stay on the ball while on the go. I'm confident that in future RP will continue to improve and remain a key part of my planning process.

This is hands down the best Roadmap - Timeline app I've found on iOS desktop and mobile and I've been through a few. It is super intuitive and easy to use but also has great power in its more advanced functions like dependancies. I'm planning a Kickstarter campaign which includes a 1.5 year design > prototype > campaign > manufacturing > shipping timeline and after one hour of using Roadmap Planner, was the first time that I actually had a good sense of the entire project. Such a relief. I had tried different methods to achieve the same goal, like spreadsheeting with excel and google sheets and a few other iOS apps like Calendar Timeline that essentially try (but fail) to do the same thing and nothing has come close... Really easy to use, I was up and running in no time. The subscription prices are reasonable and worth it in my opinion to have the sync function across multiple devices. There are a few small bugs that I've reported with their support team who are super communicative and assure me that the bugs will squashed ASAP. I always appreciate good communication from a developer and these guys are great. All in all, if you need to build a timeline for a project, for yourself or for an entire team (great presentation function) then this is your app... Highly recommended.

I've used Roadmap Planner to map out the steps for my side projects. Nice, simple to use, I liked the design, and is available on my favorite Mac. And I loved the dependencies which could be made across different projects, and milestones with a set date. Hope to see new features coming up soon!

Pros:

Simple to use, beautifully designed, is a nice substitute for Trello

Cons:

I'd add some more additional features like collaboration with other tools
