Not a YouTuber, but the "Search for your channel below to generate a site in seconds (no sign-up required). If you like what you see, unlock your site for premium features!" sign up flow is genius!

Thanks for checking it out and please do let us know what you think!

@jschuller I've been trying to sign up for several days. I am unable to get the demo to work, either. I tried on my PC and mobile device with no luck. Maybe my security software is being overly protective, I'm not sure. I used the contact link but haven't received a reply. It's been several days since I made contact. Can you help me get going or is this cool service no longer available?

nice one

Pros:

- provides web platform for youtubers

- easy to create

Cons:

need more customization options

Having a website increases your footprint on the web and becomes another channel for people to discover your content. It's proven to increase your audience. And RIVYT makes it easy to do that.

YouTube metrics (views, watch-time, et al) are the bread-and-butter for a content creator. And if those metrics are not harmonised between the website and YouTube, it's a bit of a deal-breaker. But that's unknown here.

Pros:

- Slick sign up process if you have a YouTube channel

- Easy to customise the look and feel.

- Templates are responsive to all form-factors.

Cons:

Unsure whether video views via the site are are synchronised with those on YouTube.

Looks absolutely beautiful, a joy to use too!

@liammckay Oh man! Thanks.
Christopher John
@liammckay Thanks, Liam! Knowing your work, that means a lot!

Beautiful design! But I don't really get what kind of value does the website provide?
Jason Schuller
@mingliangma Thanks! It's always a good idea to have a website of your own, where you can develop your own individual brand outside of YouTube. Also, our Shop feature allows you to sell products (something you would need your own site for as well). Finally, YouTube videos shared via branded websites can see “330% more interactions” according to Google.

I absolutely love this service. As a youtuber I was struggling to build a website that really helped promote my videos/brand etc. I was so happy when I found these guys and this product here a few months back on Producthunt. They have added a ton of new themes and are always welcome to new feature suggestions to the site.

You can now get started with a site in just a few seconds. It's amazingly easy to use and a must for a Youtuber of anysize

Pros:

Crazy crazy easy to get started and use, they are constantly added new features and themes, they love community feedback

Cons:

None

This is a brilliant concept. The sign up is slick and easy. Question - When I view the video on the website, it doesn't come through as a 'view' on YouTube. At least not instantly. I waited for a good 10 minutes but the numbers didn't add up. I am guessing there's some latency there? @jschuller @themolitor
Christopher John
@jschuller @kaushalvyas010 Really appreciate the nice remarks! Regarding your question, it all depends on how the YouTube API (v3) registers views. Some of our design options have an auto-play feature that when turned on may behave differently than when turned off (i.e. may have a delay, etc.). I would have to fully research the YouTube API V3 view count system to give you more definitive answer on this.

@jschuller @themolitor Thanks for getting back about this. Here's what I tried FYI - - I created a site using the Channelize template for one of my channels last night. - I then started playing videos via the site and looked at the real-time views. - When I didn't see anything come through I tried playing the same video via YouTube and I saw the view come through. As a YouTuber, I would like to ensure that the views come through, obviously.
Christopher John
@kaushalvyas010 For sure. Appreciate the insight here. While our main focus is growing YouTube subscribers and incorporating product sales, views are certainly an important component. I’m going to look into that more.
Christopher John
@kaushalvyas010 UPDATE! I've reviewed the YouTube API and did some research over the weekend... looks like loadVideoById and cueVideoById have different impacts on the view counter. Anything that plays a video without the user directly clicking the in-player play button will NOT count as a view. I've taken this info and adjusted all the designs in our platform. Now videos will load with cueVideoById and require the user to click the in-player play button. Unless users have auto-play turned on via design settings, all views should be counted now!
Kaushal Vyas
@themolitor Great to hear back! Thanks for looking into this and interesting to know about the APIs. I will give it a spin later this week and check if the views come through :)
