Hey guys! We launched the MVP for our Review Scraper API back in September, and have been blown away by the response. We now help 150+ companies scrape reviews in industries as varied as academia, e-commerce, automotive, reputation management, Wordpress plugins and more. We received a lot of feedback from these early users, and have made many updates: 😋 Google reviews now available - this was a very common request. The Google Maps API only returns the 5 most recent reviews for a given business, and companies obviously want to be able to access all of them. 🏃Speed! We have improved our queueing system, and have implemented a completely scalable infrastructure that scales as necessary to make sure you get your reviews in a timely fashion. 🚉 We ran into some limitations while using Mashape as our API gateway, so now run completely on our own platform. This has meant that we are able to improve our customer service, quality and pricing drastically. 🤑We've added pay as you go credits which don't expire, making it incredibly affordable for small companies who can't commit to monthly subscriptions - this has been a big hit. Our pricing is also now based on the number of reviews scraped, and we make it easy to limit this based on the exact reviews needed. We are working on some big updates that will be available soon too - such as the ability to respond to reviews on various review platforms (eg. Yelp, Tripadvisor) programatically and a review insights API. Do you see value in adding reviews in your site, app or platform? I'd love to hear your feedback! 🎉
