When we first started working on RetroFix, one of our developers had just lost his beloved grandma. He stumbled upon an old, worn-out photo of her that had been sitting in a drawer for years. It was blurry, faded, and full of scratches. As he worked on restoring the photo, he realized that bringing back memories through photos was more than just a technical task—it was about reconnecting with moments that might otherwise be lost forever. That’s when the idea for the ‘Recreate’ and ‘Combine’ features came to life. We wanted to make it possible for people to not only restore their most cherished memories but also create new ones by combining photos of loved ones in ways they never thought possible. RetroFix is more than an app—it’s about giving life to memories.
