RepoCloud.io is a cloud host for 1-click deployments of over 200 popular open-source SaaS alternative applications. Enjoying the flexibility of elastic autoscaling, with pay-as-you-go hourly rates, all for half the cost of major cloud hosts.
RepoCloud was born out of the desire to simplify the deployment of open source apps and make it more economical. Our platform hosts over 200 open source apps, all deployable with just one click. We offer an hourly billing model so you only pay for what you use, at rates much lower than big cloud providers. Plus, Product Hunt community members get free credits to try us out, no credit card needed!
I see a lot of tools that require some type of investment by creating and adding data. Does user data get deleted if someone decides to stop using RepoCloud? Can they export data in some way to help migration to another service, or if they decide to self-host on their own?
@geri_mate Thanks for your questions! When an instance is deleted, it's permanently gone, so none of the app data is stored. In terms of migration, I guess it partially depends on the specific app, but we're fully committed and willing to support migrating your app and data out of our platform in any way we can. Just reach out and we'll be happy to support that.
Seems super usefull for those looking to quickly deploy open source. And the thing is you can expand quickly with such a thriving open source environment nowadays :D
Wow, can even deploy WordPress. Hope it's not a version as old as the one in the screenshot! How does it work with domains, etc? Can I map my own domain to the app that I launch? Do I get access the VM that's running it?
This actually seems like a really cool concept and I love to see that you built it in Softr, while using actual programming in the backend! So how exactly does it work? I hit deploy and have access to the specific platforms features as long as I need? Do you plan on adding more app in the future?
I'll be keeping an eye on this one 👀
Hi Eric, the one-click deployment feature sounds incredibly user-friendly and the cost-saving aspect is definitely a huge plus. The additional free credits for the Product Hunt community is a thoughtful touch. Excited to see how RepoCloud streamlines the implementation of SaaS alternatives. Best of luck!
This is awesome. I would like our open source project (https://github.com/supaglue-labs...) to be available on repo cloud as well. What's the best way to get added?
@telepathy Very useful project! If the underlying open-source repo gets updated, do you support rolling updates also or does one need to deploy a new instance?

I see a part of instruments that require a few sort of venture by making and including information. Does client information get erased in the event that somebody chooses to halt utilizing RepoCloud? Can they trade information in a few way to assist movement to another benefit, or in the event that they choose to self-host on their possess?
