Congrats on the launch! How did you all decide to work on this problem set of embedded payroll?
@charleyma Story time! Kirti and I used to actually operate a gig company with 1000+ workers. We ran into major compliance problems that forced us to classify everyone as W2 employees. There was no product on the market that allowed us to seamlessly (and programmatically) run W2 payroll at scale. That's how we were introduced to the world of payroll infra. We started off with launching a Payroll API and then expanded to an entire suite of payroll infra tools. Today, we are the underlying infrastructure for all types of platforms. We're building a product we wish we had.

Awesome to see this! What businesses do you think could benefit the most from embedding payroll?
@spencer_burleigh There are a multitude of payroll builders, but the biggest categories are: HR/Insurance+Benefits, Time & Attendance, POS, Fintechs, and Vertical SaaS (think Square).
This is an AMAZING company, with great founders. Have checked out this product in depth and HIGHLY recommend.
I don't know a lot yet about the actual product yet, but looks cool. I do know, however, one of the founding engineers and they are super sharp and know their stuff when it comes to software AND payroll. 🚀🚀🚀🚀
