@panphora @hrishio Thank you Hrishi!

This is exactly what i think the maker world needs right now! Love the approach and love it is open source, I will play around with the framework in the following days. Congrats on launching!
David Miranda
@gtardini Thank you! Feel free to send any feedback directly to me: david@remaketheweb.com and I'll help you through tough spots
Phil Baretto
Really love this new take on web development. Low code tools are very cool 💯
David Miranda
@_baretto Thank you Elston! My investment in Remake might reveal it, but I think low code tools are the future 👨‍🔬

I am SO excited for this launch! I've been watching David meticulously build Remake for a long time now. It's amazing to see it live, working, and blowing people's mind. I looked though my notebook last week. I had 10 ideas for apps over the past few months. I built one of them and it took 30 days. With Remake I can make ALL of them, in probably less time. I'm already spinning up a new idea for the holiday season and can't wait to see it live on my own domain. Good luck with the launch today David!
David Miranda
@joemasilotti That's so great to hear, I hope you can build everything you want to build! Reach out any time — I'm available to help with anything you need to get set up! david@remaketheweb.com

Beautiful product. Congrats on the launch!
David Miranda
@geetfun Thank you Simon! The launch was so much fun — I can't wait to do it again for Remake 3.0 :D

Seems too good to be true! Excited to try it out. I have quite a few developer friends, who stay away from most No-Code tools because of the drag and drop UI. Seems like this would be the no-code (for non devs) tool comparable for them!
David Miranda
@designsingh Yes – if you avoid no-code because of the lock-in to the platform OR not being able to have 100% control over the front-end design and functionality, Remake is the low code tool that was made for you.

Hello people of Product Hunt! 👋😄 Have you ever had an idea for a product and planned to have it done within 3 days? But then 3 years pass and you haven’t launched it yet? I’m a designer who’s been launching startups for the past 10 years. I’ve been consistently frustrated by how long it takes to turn a design into a working product. I knew there had to be a better way. I started working on a small, front-end library back in 2018, which eventually evolved into what Remake is today. Introducing Remake 2.0, an open source framework that lets you turn HTML & CSS into fully-function web apps in minutes. Remake is a departure from accepted best practices, which try to convince you that “Web development is complex — and if it’s not, it’s not real web development.” Remake goes in the opposite direction: It shouldn’t matter how hard it is to build something — all that matters is if you help your users succeed. Remake is straightforward and simple: 📎 Upload and store files in one line of HTML 📝 Easy for users to edit the page 📂 Sortable items with one HTML attribute 💡 Every user gets their own data 🔒 Secure user accounts 🛠 Built-in CRUD components ⚡️ Instant deployment If you want to see how powerful Remake is, go to the Recipes page. I hope you’re as excited as I am. I’d love to answer all your questions here throughout the day! Oh my goodness! I am the luckiest. My wonderful wife surprised me with a custom Remake t-shirt the night before launch day 😊 Join our community and let’s Remake the web! 🧙‍♂️ P.S. Discount: I’m constantly inspired by the Product Hunt community and all the amazing people here. I’d like to offer you a 20% discount for being a part of the maker movement: REMAKE20 (works on all plans)

As someone who knows a little HTML + CSS but not much else, the idea I can use something simpler like Remake (compared to say JS) to build functioning web apps is really fascinating. Can't wait to try it out, and congrats on the launch @panphora!
David Miranda
@panphora @yungrollneck Thank you Charlie! I'd love to do an office hours video and invite newer people on to learn Remake together.
Nadav Keyson
looks incredible
David Miranda
@nadav21 Thank you Nadav! That means a lot coming from you. How would you describe it to someone? I always like to ask when it seems like someone understands it and like it too.
Navid Mirzaie Milani
Congrats on the launch this looks very promising, going to save it in my collection and getting back to it. Great landing page also btw!. Goodluck with further development.
David Miranda
@navidmirzaie Thank you for the support! Can't wait to see what you think 🙌
Charlie Coppinger
Hey, look! I know that guy! Great work @panphora, it's been a real privelege to watch you work on Remake so diligently over on IndieLog. Keep it up.
David Miranda
@thecoppinger Hi Charlie, thank you for following along. I love the IndieLog community and look forward to following your indie journey there as well! And congrats on the new job!
Petr Stedry
As an ex-developer (I know it's been 16 years already), I've been missing the power of code with all those NO-CODE tools. Taking care of storing the data and handling user accounts are the features that nail it perfectly for me. I just want to focus on my idea and not the "tedious" details around it. Nor do I want to burn my time on integrating 3rd party services in the early stage of making my idea live. Bought into the Founders Deal immediately! Thank you for creating Remake 😍
David Miranda
@vorkronor Thank you very much Petr! People like you are why I invented Remake. I hope it serves you well! Thank you for supporting Remake with a purchase 🤩 Please reach out if you have any problems or even just want to do a call — and I'll get to your message right away!
Max Prilutskiy
Launching soon!
Exciting!
David Miranda
@prilutskiy Thank you Max! 🤩
Abhishek Kumar
Excited for this David. And all the cool things one can make using Remake. Very promising🤓
David Miranda
@abhishek_kumar3 Thank you Abhishek! Yes, we'll even have more example apps coming soon! Any suggestions or requests for what the next one should be?
Abhishek Kumar
@mubashariqbal is the most prolific indie maker I know. Has a list of all his side projects here http://www.mubashariqbal.com/por... i think if you could replicate one of his works and do it in less time, he'd find it really interesting 🙂
David Miranda
@mubashariqbal @abhishek_kumar3 Thank you Abhishek! I'll reach out and see what he thinks! Thank you 🙏
Kai Oelfke
After playing with the product I send some feedback to @panphora and he got back to me quickly with code for my demo idea as well as some new features in Remake to make it possible. And he did all that in less then 24h after my feedback even though he was busy preparing for this launch. I’m curious how Remake will further develop as it has a lot of potential for quick prototyping, MVPs and simple web apps.
David Miranda
@panphora @kaioelfke Thank you for trying it out. I will endeavor to improve the framework a lot over the coming year!
Konrad
big + for open sourcing it! looks promising, definitely will check it out.
David Miranda
@konisupertramp Thank you Konrad. Open source is very important to me. I hate vendor lock-in and I love the idea that when everyone shares their ideas, everyone does better.
Pete
Looks v cool!
David Miranda
@petecodes Thank you Pete! Really apprecite it 😊
Hieu C. Nguyen
I've checked out Remake this morning and it looks great David. Congrats on launching version 2!
David Miranda
@hieunc Thank you! I've benefitted a lot from feedback from users. And I'm hoping I can improve Remake more over the coming year!
James McKinven
I've been following your progress over the past few months of you building Remake, and it's been a joy to watch. From the care you take over every aspect of the site to the mammoth job of redoing the syntax, I'm delighted you've launched! I'm not technical so I don't fully understand how Remake works, but what I do know is it stands for makers being able to make things faster, more efficiently. Congrats on getting this live David, looking forward to see what people build with Remake 🎉
David Miranda
@jmckinven Thank you James, your support means a lot! I love your podcast btw! It inspires me to try harder and post more things in public (even if it's not easy at the time).
