Love using Reclaim, such a time saver for me as a Product Manager, and it absolutely swept through our business. Integrates with Linear & Todoist as well as many other platforms. Henry and Patrick have also been super responsive to feedback, and I'm looking forward to seeing future updates.
Using this tool for a year or so. It does change my life and productivity rate when I stick with it (when I am not, my bad!) Tool is a bit difficult to approach and understand but when you do, it's a life-changing tool. One huge kudo for creators who litteraly spent hours chatting with me to help me tune the software to my needs. HIGHLY recommend!
Hey ProductHunt friends 👋
We're thrilled to share Reclaim's new Google Calendar Add-On! Your team can now enjoy and manage all the time blocking automation magic of Reclaim from right inside Google Calendar.
Automatically find the best time for your tasks, recurring routines, 1:1 meetings, and breaks to create the perfectly planned day with no work required.
The Problem 🤔
As busy product people, we know just how hard it is to make time in a jam-packed schedule. We always have more to-dos than we have time to get them done. And because our calendars are more overrun with meetings than ever before, it's challenging to get time for our actual work. Here's a quick look at just how hectic our calendars have become on average:
🤝 21.5 hours/week in meetings
🏃♀️ Only 53.5% of weekly planned tasks get completed
💪 2.24 hours/day spent on productive task work
🆘 1.96 hours/day wasted on unproductive task work
We wanted to help teams make a better connection between their task list and their actual capacity (i.e., the calendar), and allow them to reclaim the time they need for their actual priorities.
The Solution 📆
Reclaim allows you to optimize your existing Google Calendar using smart time blocking -- automatically finding the best time for your tasks, routines, breaks and 1:1s -- around your existing busy schedule.
Simply integrate your task list (from Todoist, Jira, ClickUp, Asana, Linear or Google Tasks), set up the recurring Habits you want to make time for (e.g., lunch, email, weekly reporting), and set how long you want to break for after meetings, and let Reclaim prioritize your day for you.
See your full list of priorities right inside Google Calendar in the Reclaim Google Calendar add-on so you can make changes to your schedule, reprioritize tasks, log work, or punt work you no longer have time for. Reclaim's add-on gives you the best of both worlds: the power to automate your schedule with the freedom to make in the moment changes -- without ever leaving Google Calendar.
The Benefits 🔥
Whether you're a manager responsible for prioritizing work across an entire team, or an individual contributor who needs to find and defend time for productive work, Reclaim can help you create up to 40% more time in your workweek.
🔥 Auto-block time for your tasks
🔥 Prevent unnecessary meetings
🔥 Hit your sprint goals more often
🔥 Improve capacity planning
🔥 Reduce context switching & multitasking

Here's how to get started:
1. Sign up for Reclaim via Google Calendar

This is a really interesting tool! I've become obsessed with tools that organize my calendar and my tasks these days, so I'm definitely checking this out
@britt_joiner thanks! Let us know if you need any support as you’re getting started — just click that little chat bubble in the bottom right corner of the app.
@henry_shapiro I'm really impressed by your product, it seems like such a time-saver. Planning daily tasks is such a pain so it's awesome to have a tool do it for you.
@maya_ovice thank you so much -- yes, we definitely think computers should do the work that humans aren't good at, and let you focus on the things you uniquely do well. Most people know what they _should_ be working on, but our tools don't make it easy to plan it out.
Been using reclaim for a while to mostly block out time for lunch and catch-up time, as well as pull my private personal commitments from a shared family calendar automatically. Was really happy to see todoist added as an integration but as someone with ADHD I flake far too much on organising my tasks. Pulling this into Google Calendar which I use daily is amazing
Autoscheduling of tasks is super helpful for me, other solutions always seem to come out more expensive (i.e Focuster, Usemotion), the pace of new additions is really great. Thanks so much
It's essential for me to stay on top of my inbox and not miss important emails, especially during hectic work days. Habits in Reclaim helps schedule time for my daily routines and recurring tasks, and it's been awesome!
The team did such an amazing job with this add-on 😍 As someone who used to switch between Reclaim & Google Calendar to organize my schedule – being able to manage my Linear task list right in my calendar and create new tasks is NEXT LEVEL.
