Just downloaded. Looks great!! Going to test it and give feedback. Been looking for something like this. Pandora doesn’t do it for me and neither does that discovery ai on Spotify

big congrats for your launch 🚀

What's the length of the tracks that it can produce?
Kate Rusalovich
@aaronoleary Cool idea! Definitely will try! Always wonder if it is possible to connect the radio with my health app to get data about my mood or health condition to personalize the music for my day ?..
Patrick Quinn
@aaronoleary @kate_rusalovich I actually built a startup around this idea around 10 years ago, the 2 don't actually correlate as much as you think they would!
Huge congratulations, Team Radiant 3.0 on this epic launch on Producthunt! Radiant sure sounds like a game changer in the digital radio space. I love the idea of being updated on events and weather with a slice of humor. One suggestion I'd consider, would be to maybe include a ‘mood selector’ feature, so Rad can tailor the soundtrack of the day based on user's feeling - could be a real hit. Keep up the brilliant work!
Aaron O'Leary
@manmohit A mood selector is a good idea for sure, definitely something we've had at the back of our minds!

I've been using rad for a few months now and love it!

Oh it looks so cool, I have to try it out. Sometimes when I'm with friend we just don't know what to play. Congratulations on the launch!
Alexander Bobko
wow looks great! how do want to monetize it?
Patrick Quinn
@alexander_bobko1 premium tier voices and higher end LLMs powering the DJ (ie smarter Rad)! 🙂

Radiant 3.0's performance enhancements are noteworthy! How does it manage large image files and resource-intensive design tasks without sacrificing speed?
Chalie Clark
Radiant's design freedom is appealing! How does it ensure that users can seamlessly export their creations in various formats for different platforms?
Shreyansh Saurabh

Is support for Spotify coming?
Awesome! I keep having this problem of only listening to the same music over and over on Spotify
Aaron O'Leary
@andriyuh Yeah, it's why we built it, we were actually early to the AI game also, started this back 3 years ago!
Congrats on the Launch!

what about other services like spotify or so?
Patrick Quinn
@jan_zavesky We had Spotify support in v1 and v2, Spotify ripped off our idea (their DJ is available worldwide now if you want a less awesome alternative) and closed the door on native apps being able to stream from their service directly so we dropped them. Other services might be supported in future but Apple Music is a fantastic streaming option if you've not tried it already!

@patrickjmq I see, Spotify is everything but open. Their approach is quite annoying for developers, I experienced it myself. They got great catalogue and great app though. Which I guess is caused they don't give a f*** about anything else than their end users. (their end users = their money)
Patrick Quinn
@jan_zavesky My understanding is that Spotify, whilst originally benefiting richly from 3rd party developers, have gotten to a stage where 3rd party apps are a drain on their business model. Spotify tightly control what they play for you prioritising songs that have reduced royalties or that they're being paid to promote. Developers prioritising the best song selection and the best experience for the listener runs contrary to this. It's a shame but I think it's time we all move on a find a better way to stream music!
