Hi Product Hunt Community - we’re excited to share with you the new Quest Components - a better way for product development teams to build frontend for their product and business applications. We built this to solve our own needs: we build Quest with Quest. And based on the feedback from early adopters, we have been updating it over the past few months. We’d love for you to try it out, let us know what you think and how we can make it better. Some key highlights: ✅ Generates clean React.js code components from your Figma designs. ✅ Built-in support for Material UI. Or you can build your own component library if you want. ✅ Pixel-perfect presentation layer generated automatically from your design. ✅ Responsive UI with automated breakpoints for multi-screen experiences based on your designs. ✅ Set up props & bindings easily to interface with your backends. ✅ Separation of concerns between presentation and business logic, so your designers and developers can iterate quickly and independently. ✅ Code Components that are extendable and can be added to your existing applications - so you can build on what you already have. ✅ Export code and drive it through your existing CI/CD pipeline - with built-in support for Next.js and Create React App. Our goal is to help you build faster without compromising on code quality or ability to customize/extend. We believe this will help companies around the world scale their dev efforts easily. We want to welcome you to the new way of building frontend. Let us know what you think! Quest Team
Fares
@npobbathi developing a React component is a great idea, Congratulations !
Al Khan
@npobbathi Great pitch! Generating React components out of Figma designs can be a time-consuming process but Quest makes it sound so easy. This is indeed a valuable tool. Good luck and congrats on the launch!
Nagesh Pobbathi
@fares_aktouf Thank you Fares.
Nagesh Pobbathi
@katerina_kurshina Thanks Kate. Appreciate the support.
Nagesh Pobbathi
@alcaan Thanks Al. Yes, it is a pain point we experienced first-hand, and we ourselves see the benefit of a tool like Quest. Would love for you to try it out.
scott hammond
Congrats! Do I have to refactor the React code before I use it or is it production-ready?
Sudhir Subramanian
@scott_hammond Thank you. The code that's generated is fully production-ready. We also have different export options to make sure it fits any development workflow and framework. So its as easy as generate and drop it into your source control -- and it will get built for production.
Nagesh Pobbathi
@scott_hammond Thanks Scott. Great question. The code for the presentation layer is production-ready and you can drop it into your source control directly. In addition, we give you stub hooks where you can add your own custom code.
Maria Alexandrova

Generating components from Figma designs sounds too good to be true. I'm really curious to hear long-term experiences.
Nagesh Pobbathi
@alexander_eble Thank you for the support. In the mid to long term, we intend to enable more frameworks like Vue, Angular, and maybe Svelte. Also, potentially support for specific verticals based on our customer interest. At a high level, our goal is to empower product development teams to build anything they want faster and with higher quality.
Sudhir Subramanian
@alexander_eble We recommend you take it for a spin. We've faced the pain first hand and we built this product to solve a very prevalent problem. We use it internally and absolutely love it. We're sure you will too!
Alexander Eble
@npobbathi Sounds good. What about React Native?
Alexander Eble
@andrew_jasper But do I understand correctly that the trial does not enable to generate for actual use or what is the limitation?
Ron Fybish
I love it keep it up 👍
Nagesh Pobbathi
@ron_fybish1 Thank you Ron.
Diana Akhmetova
Thank you for creating such clear and necessary things! How much does it cost for a team to use the service?
Nagesh Pobbathi
@diana_sfera Thank you Diana. Our team plans start at $299/month, which includes 10 team members. Individual plans are $49/mo per user. You can find more details at https://quest.ai/pricing
Andrew Jasper

Elayne Greig
A bit too much $ for bootstrappers without a clear timeline, but I think this project is dope!
Nagesh Pobbathi
@elaynegg Thanks Elayne. Our customers tell us that they shaved off months in their project timelines using Quest. And so they feel the pricing is a great value. So I feel confident that you'll find it so as well. We offer 30 day free trial so you can see it for yourself.
Arun R
Excited to use it. What integrations does Quest support?
Sudhir Subramanian
@aaron_murphy1 Quest is full integrated at the moment with Figma on the design side. Also we fully integrate with MUI components so that you can get component functionality out of the box. On the framework side we fully support react frameworks like Create React App and NextJs. We have plans to add a lot more integrations, but if you have specific ones that you would like to see, do let us know. Thanks!
Nagesh Pobbathi
@aaron_murphy1 Thanks Aaron. We support direct integrations with Figma and MUI right now. We include code stubs for you to add any backend API calls or write your business logic. So you can integrate with any backend or CMS of your choice. Let us know if there're any other integrations you'd like to see.
Claudia Whiteley
@npobbathi Great product! Congrats...Question - who owns the code after you export?
Helen Dong
This is awesome! Definitely going to keep it in mind for my next project!
Nagesh Pobbathi
@helendong Wonderful! Thanks Helen. Easy enough for any figma designer and React.js developer to use it.
Gvidas Šulskis
looks nice! A valuable tool to have.
Nagesh Pobbathi
@gvidas_sulskis Thank you Gvidas. Hope you get a chance to try it out.
Frankie Margotta
So am I able to get working MUI components from Figma? How does that work?
Nagesh Pobbathi
@frankiemargotta Yes! You simply export your figma components to Quest. And if you used MUI kit to build your design, Quest will automatically generate react components with MUI behavior. You can also build your own custom components and library using Quest.
Andrew Jasper
@frankiemargotta Basically you just copy and paste the MUI components into your Figma file and when you export them into Quest you'll see them working. For instance if you copy and paste a button you'll be able to rollover it and see the animated hover state. Or if you copy and paste a text field, you'll be able to see the hover and focus states and even type into it and see exactly how it will behave in your product because Quest is rendering your design as React.
