QR Code Reader — Not just your typical QR app

Hey ProductHunters 👋 I am a founder of a small and growing indie studio based in the Bay Area.  Our passion is building high quality utility apps, this being the first. We have several more apps set to launch later this year.  Our team is led by myself. I, Malcolm Parrish, am a black app entrepreneur and developer. My passion for iOS apps stems back to my college days when I won an entrepreneurial app pitch competition. Since then my passion has not wavered.  I have worked as an iOS app developer and launched a number of highly successful iOS apps.  We are seeking to become the best all around QR app. Our application is not just for users to use occasionally and quickly exit, but also to engage with and spend time playing games. The first game we are launching is the QR Code Scanning Game. Think of a scavenger hunt and Hangman meets QR Codes. Users can also take the time to customize their own QR Codes. We are passionate about the utility app niche and specifically wanted to create a world class QR app. We have seen the rapid rise of QR Codes and their necessity during the COVID pandemic. And we want to innovate the space. The QR Code niche is so popular and useful. We also have heard of people playing scavenger hunt like QR Code games and wanted to build a unique way for people to do so. We are passionate about the mobile app and App Store ecosystem. We want to further contribute to the App Store system by developing a great product, providing a great experience and support for our users. Our planned business model will be the freemium model.
