Yes, donations made through our App and web go directly to charities' PayPal accounts immediately, Purpose does not anyhow hold the funds.
We empower our nonprofits to provide updates and impact report to our donors on the impact of the contributions, thus helping nonprofits build long-term relationships with their donors and providing donors transparency on how they are helping!

I love the idea of Purpose App, but I think it could be even more impactful if it included a feature that allowed users to donate their time and skills, not just their money.

This is exactly the direction we are heading to, we would like to let nonprofits build a community of supporters who share same excitement about their missions, and introduce volunteering opportunities with time and skills. However, it takes time, as you can imagine.
We invite you to join the platform and support our first nonprofits, that focus on the causes you are excited about, by clicking "Follow" and we will encourage these nonprofits to offer opportunities to collaborate to people like you.
