Psycho Ipsum — An American Psycho Lorem Ipsum Generator

I was thinking to myself the other day the world REALLY needs ANOTHER lorem ipsum generator… so, here’s one made using the script from my favorite 80s-based RomCom, American Psycho. It’s too quotable not to use and I honestly couldn’t believe it didn’t already exist. I know I’ll probably get scolded by my UX comrades for even suggesting one to still use placeholder text… but I just had to make this a thing. Lacking the skills to code this from scratch, a quick search delivered Robert Cooper’s Stranger Ipsum (Check it out here: https://lnkd.in/gar3rugF) project on GitHub. From here I enlisted my buddy Gabe Rivera to leverage this as a template, to which he constructed an Angular version (GitHub asset coming soon) for Psycho Ipsum. *Note* I annotated the script’s more offensive curses and phrases so you ‘probably’ won’t lose your job for using this, but you’ve been warned.
