@manikarthik Hey Mani! Thanks for sharing on Twitter. It is a asynchronous script that will load separately without blocking your page rendering. And, it's only a 4kb file :)
Hey Meet, great new take on popups. However I had these questions.
1. Why can't any of the existing pop-up builders that I am already paying for knock this off?
2. What is the road-map ahead for this? Is it just going to be this or what's the evolution of the product?
@yash Hey Yash,
1. You will have to ask the existing pop-up builders itself!
2. I'm planning to more types of widget and some improvement on the widget with the current feedback received!
Hey Hunter π!
It's been a wild journey this year. I'm excited to launch Prosper β‘οΈ
We all know when popups get annoying, but as a business owner, maker, writer these popups are important towards building the audience and a way to reach out to them.
That's the moment I decided to try changing how the popups are. And, if we can make them a little personal and more friendly to visitors. I'm sure, showing your face behind your startup or your website will help in gaining the trust of your visitor without being annoying at the same time!
Introducing Prosper, where you can quickly record your message, add popup to your website and grow your email list in a more respectable way.
I am currently on 9-5 so I'll try my best to reply all possible questions!
If you liked it, hated it or have any ideas on how this can be made better, make sure to let me know in comments. I will make sure to analyse and improve on it :)
- Peace!
This is awesome! I typically hate pop-ups & close them due to the static nature of them. However, this certainly grab my attention & increase the likeliness of converting into a lead.
@meetchopra Thank you! We should talk though. I can see your solution embed in our sellers stores. It would be awesome for a "sales associate" like experience.
For me, pop ups and auto-play videos are lumped into the same category, so having an auto-play video pop-up wouldn't make me more likely to give over an email, personalized or not.
@grahampark I feel that most people just want auto-play videos to be over and generally spend that time paying attention to anything else so there would be even less of a chance this would capture my attention than a popup.
@grahampark I agree. Toasts and popups should be used once on an initial visit to a site and never again, auto-play videos with possible audio are an egregious design, especially for sites trying to minimize network usage.
