I stumbled across this neat service that lets you put javascript code on your site to have little notification popups appear on your checkout screens showing social proof of recent purchases or conversions. When others see that there are people buying your service, it adds credibility and increases their likelihood of completing the sales process.
Looks like there isn't a 'free' plan, which is unfortunate. They do have a 14-day trial. $29/mo after that.
