Project Atlas generates complex business automation agents step-by-step, then it outputs a no-code drag-drop graph for you to edit. No technical experience or degree in software engineering required.
Finally, agents for everyone else.
π Hey Product Hunt! Agents suck. Does this sound familiar?
βMost agent frameworks are built for coders. Do you have one on your team to get it working?
βUnreliable agents that go off the rails.
βTedious to build complex workflows.
βRebuilding everything when services update their designs.
We've been quietly solving the hardest problems in automation to make agents reliable and easier to use for all customers regardless of technical backgrounds.
We started Cheat Layer during the pandemic to help people who had lost their jobs and businesses rebuild online, helping hundreds globally pro-bono, and I'm excited to make progress on this in meaningful ways.
I'm proud to introduce Project Atlas, a framework that builds business agents for you step-by-step while generating a no-code graph for you to edit.
β Unlimited agents and executions to enable new categories of solutions.
β All agents are automatically APIs that return values.
β Agent Recorder to record actions.
β Scale up operations in Open Agent Cloud.
β Novel state machine with state-of-the-art testing loops for robust, generalized, agents.
β New agentic targeting strategy in language rather than code, to build future-proof agents that still work when services update designs.
We have some breakthroughs in this new state machine I haven't seen yet in research simply by virtue of having worked on this longer than even Microsoft autogen. Some breakthroughs were only possible after we cracked unlimited agents.
For example, it runs a lot of requests per Project Atlas run now between each node: there's a generation, there's parallel research agents, there's a verification agent that checks general goals, the action itself, and now magical mapping between nodes/agents.
βΆοΈWhat agents do you want to build? Let me know your dream agent in the comments and I can send you a prompt to generate it using Project Atlas desktop or extension. :)
I'll be holding live webinars throughout the day to showcase the most common use-cases, and the recordings will also be posted in the comments so check back later if you can't make it:

Hold ALT+S on relevant websites with our extension and try these prompts in 30 seconds:
"Generate a tweet about ai automation and Cheat Layer agents everyday at 10am"
"Load this google sheet, then loop through each row to open the links in new tabs. Scrape the text from the websites and social profiles and write the data back in the same google sheet"(add your Google Sheet)
"Read the invoice, then enter the purchase details in the form. " (Automate mundane document processing)
"Analyze these financial statements in the attached PDF, then email a report to rohan@cheatlayer.com everyday at 10am" (Automate email at scale with schedules and triggers)
"Summarize the text on this page which includes news articles, then email a 3 paragraph summary to rohan@cheatlayer.com everyday at 8am"
"Generate B2B leads for private equity managers everyday at 10am, then scrape their websites to store back into the same google sheet, then generate a personalized email in 3 short sentences. In the first sentence, mention something positive about the brand, in the 2nd mention we've helped similar firms, and in the final sentence ask if they would like a demo next week." (Complex "deep" workflows are strikingly generated step-by-step)
"Scrape all the links on this page to google sheets" (scrape unlimited data to Google Sheets)
"Scrape this earning report, and analyze it. Determine if this is a good buy or not and explain why."
"Scrape amazon greenie dog treats titles and prices for 5 pages." (Pagination)
You can get started for free now without a card, and we're holding a special launch promotion for 90% off your first month subscription for only $4 as a thank-you for providing great feedback and voting us #1 product of the day last year!
Enjoy Cheating!
@kjosephabraham Thanks!
We believe the "path to the holy grail" lies in a robust testing loop and reinforcement learning techniques. There are several more research projects to extend Project Atlas in terms of the complexity of what it can accomplish. Today, it seems to robustly solve well-defined use-cases. Next, we want to tackle open-ended problems that require more testing and iteration.
@rohan_arun1@kjosephabraham Thank you for your continued support.
Yes! You can now get started free without a card and we also do live onboardings to get you started in creating your first agent.
Happy Cheating.
This looks promising - will give it a try!
I looked at the landing page instead of the extension page because I didn't want to watch the video at first. I think there are some jargons used that didn't make sense for someone who is not super technical (which I assume is your target audience). For example, I wasn't sure what "RPA tools" are. I think showing a few use cases, live on your website, in graphics format could help.
I also watched the video after, and I noticed that it talked about the origin story - very cool! It definitely gained trust because you guys were early in the game. Though, I wish the video didn't just have sped up demos, but rather some kind of workflow representation so I know exactly how the agents work and how they are superior to others.
I think the problems are real though!
Congrats @rohan_arun1 and team! Will definitely talk MORE about my product experience after giving it a try.
@tonyhanded Hi Tony, Thanks for taking the time to give detailed feedback. We iterate daily religiously so this will help us improve our design and onboarding experience. We personally onboard all subscribers to investigate new use-cases since we introduce new RPA concepts that don't exist in other tools, and in this call we teach our new methods. Happy to onboard you live after you sign up.
Congrats on the launch! This really feels like a meta-no-code-agent solution that generates other bots :) I worked on an AI agent [1] before, so let me know if you need some help with that (maybe there is some tech overlap between the two projects).

As I already said : @rohan_arun1 is unstoppable. And that's so good.
Oh, and wait... If you're working massively on mobile, Project Atlas extension is supported by Kiwi Browser.

No more excuse to not innovate and to not get benefits from Cheatlayer!!
@christophe_h that's awesome! Technically it's also possible to automate bluestacks or the iPhone simulator on Mac since you can automate any desktop program in Open Agent Studio Mac/Windows/Linux
Been exciting to watch the evolution of Cheat Layer over the years. @rohan_arun1 is always on the cutting edge when it comes to AI and automation and the new advancements with Project Atlas Desktop make it a lot easier to spin up AI agents to assist you in the tasks you don't want to do but need to get done.
@angel_william Hi Thanks! So we introduce a concept called Semantic Targets which functions as a 100% replacement for previous targeting strategies like CSS selectors and XPath by using our own multi-modal model that detects UI elements and calculates the intended target using english targets. For example, you can scrape "all the funny tweets on the page" or "just the tweets that include Cheat Layer" with our Magic scraper. This enables building future-proof agents, since a Post button will still have the same intent even if the button is moved or redesigned. We streamed a class recently that covers it in depth: https://youtube.com/live/ANneROn...
This solves a problem that breaks all other RPA tools today like UIpath when services update their designs.
@zulkarnaim Thanks! Please sign up at cheatlayer.com to get started now for free without a card, and I'll be holding live webinars throughout the day for common use-cases. Let me know and I can send an invite
Hi @rohan_arun1, Project Atlas Desktop sounds like a game-changer for business automation! The no-code approach and unlimited agents are impressive innovations. Looking forward to seeing how this evolves and transforms workflows for users without technical backgrounds. Great job! ππ
@abhra_ch I appreciate it! Let me know what agent you'd like to build to automate your business, and I can send you a prompt to get started today (free to start).
Guys, if you donβt stop using fake bots for upvotes, we will strike your projects from featuring by reporting them. We can see all your manipulation with fake upvotes on the graphic. Be honest and play fair for the betterment of the community. Stop it now!
@xanderiang What? I'm not sure what you are talking about man but we have thousands of global customers, and the founder of Product Hunt knows me personally. I can assure there are no fake bots, but we do have an automation platform that can build bots
@rahul_agarwal23 Yes API first: all agents in Open Agent Studio are automatically turned into an API that returns the agent data when they finish.
You can trigger pre-built .cheat agents or supply the json for actions directly.
This allows turning any website into an API as well, like we did with RunwayML for our video agents. I'll be releasing a separate dedicated video on the new Agents API since there's a lot of useful features like a queue to allow hosting agents as a service.
