I've been following @productnames on Twitter since September or so. A lot of great one word type of names and really helps brainstorm new possibilities. A great resource for the maker community. Congrats on the launch @sxsio!
Good stuff - would love to see a difference between 'premium-name' prices and 'normal domain registration prices' - say, anything more than twice the price of the usual domain reg fee for that TLD is a different background color or somesuch.
@chrisbacke Thanks Chris, thatβs a really cool idea! So far, Iβve only shared ones priced at reg fee but could consider looping in others that are priced within reason.
For new products, I usually use https://www.namestation.com/ to immediately select a domain in the .com zone.
I'll try your service too, the problem is definitely relevant
Oh hello hello, Product Names @sxsio!! Great to see this project at PH!!! I am proud to own two domains from Stephen's product name list! Congrats Stephen!
@karinavold Thanks Karina, but I disagree that it's a copy of ungrabbed. It's a solely a Twitter account providing unregistered domains. However, you are of course entitled to your opinion.
I follow @productnames on Twitter and there are some really good domain proposals.
I always thought there is a room for these kind of products. Have you seen mine Dock Name and Maker Names? I've had them both for a few months and after I got enough users, sold them both in a very similar fashion - to a bigger domain company and a domain reseller.
@productnames@mightyalex Thanks for following and the kind words Alex π I had heard of Maker Names, but not Dock Name, great job with these. So well done π
